A Decade Of Disaster - You Tube Video.

I watched it and made comment in another part , it’s not that bad as it’s pretty spot on in just a standard look over 10 years , there is nothing in it that try’s to do the wrong thing most seems fact and with a look , I didnt see any part where I went that’s crap it’s not right , most was fairly spot on
 
That’s only part one of the series.

Wests are well into the sequel. I hear they are bringing back some of the cast of series 1 for fan service.
 
Honestly makes me feel depressed.. Here are my thoughts:

- We were one of the most exciting team to watch throughout 2009-2011, If only we had more grand finals and flick pass moments to show for it.
- While most clubs have players that are truly faithful/loyal and bleed their worn jersey colours, for our club it looks like the players who played for us just played in our jerseys for the $$$. There are obviously exceptions to this E.g Benji and Farah who wore their hearts on their sleeve.
- To make the finals, you just got to be better than 50% of the other teams in the comp (for years 2012-2022). And we failed to do that. 10 years in a row we were in the bottom 50% (9-16). So mathematically speaking, the odds/probability of missing finals for 10 years consecutively would be like 0.5^10 so 0.09%? Again, I know this isn't truly representative, as there are a lot of variables at play (such as roster, injuries etc) but damn, talk about supporting the one and only team with the longest finals drought in NRL history. Also the dolphins in their 1st year have attained more wins than us.
- On game day, we just aren't good enough throughout the match. Poor 5th tackle options, penalties/discipline, players underperforming or walking around with no urgency when they could prevent a try.
- Ultimately, the "big 4" have all left to prosper/succeed at other clubs and for rival clubs to reap in the rewards of the development that we did (ok maybe not Woods).
- The team has an immense amount of pressure to perform However, our team roster also changes so much that we also can't blame the current team for the failure of the previous 9 years. Even most the players from 2018 are gone
Hopefully we can turn things around the next decade
 
Guys, this is why we need a ruthless operator like fulton in our joint. We were too nice, too dumb and got played hard. Never forget that feeling of Ivan cleary leaving, had a feeling we were screwed from that point. Panthers made a ruthless play which paid dividends. We need to start fighting back.
