Reckon it's about time we stop going on about how disfunctional the club is, all the negativity draining and boring.

Very little has been said about the positives, membership up, sponsorship up, a new coach with positivity, a roster that can compete.

Needs the fans to get behind them with enthusiasm and positivity and who knows how the year could finish up !.

The negativety excuse is pretty lame from the players. The club sacked the coach and appointed a new one within a fortnight. Big freaking deal.
Losing and contract negotiations are all their doing!!!
Weve somehow bred yet another group of weak as p.ss players.

Struth things must have gone bad coz now even Robbie is feeling sorry for the boys

"I spoke to Woodsy and he’s told me how tough it is. He said, mate, I don’t know how (you) went through it for 18 months, he’s had a month of it and it’s really been draining on him."

A month of what?.. Contact negotiations that rest on his decision alone, when the club is throwing everything at him to ensure he stays?

It's pretty hard to sort of sign a contract isn't it - hey.

Clearly it is cause Teddy; Widdop, Bird, Dugan, etc are all doing the same thing. You are carrying on like Woods is the only player in the NRL taking his time to consider his future. Why do the others get a free pass?

I hear you but i don't think the others are doing that except for teddy, they are saying we want more money and we are not happy with the offers we have received.

It's the comment about how tough things are when there is no drama around him at all. He can sign or go. Does anyone even care anymore ?

Seems a lot on this forum are full of hate. Last year it was for Farah this year Woods , Moses ( fill in the blank). Many said it was a business decision and not personal by moving Farah on so maybe its a business decision and not personal by Woods and Tedesco. After all they are just doing things the way the club has been doing business. I hope Woods and Tedesco stay but if not its not the end of the world as there are plenty of other players off contract. We all want the best for our team but lets lose the hate.

I agree. You could even say the coach change was partially them too. Woodsy came out on nrl360 stating he wanted to know who the coach was before he signed.

Whatever motivates them to take their time it is because they have options and it is a big decision. Bird wants to play a certain position which now puts Brisbane in the frame even though he has a had massive offer from Newcastle, and his own club.
Widdop is captain of his club and is seeking more money even though his club wants to retain him for what they think is fair. He thinks he can get more If he wasnt shopping himself around we wouldnt be any chance of signing him - yet our captain is being labelled because he is considering offers from strong clubs who want him there???

Just an excuse for some to take pot shots at Woods while being excited at the prospect of signing players from other clubs that are doing exactly the same thing - looking after their own best interests whatever they think that is. Absolute joke.

I know you are not making the statement, but the club is far from dysfunctional.

What I'd give to see him ambushed on 360 tonight and be asked why as a captain and a leader has he strung the club along for so long. Surely someone has the guts to ask him don't they?

You can send fan emails or tweets to NRL 360..they often read them out…

they love Gobbs...

Wouldnt pay him a dollar over 500k. I don't understand the hype around him. Money needs to be used elsewhere.

Starting to feel the same re his value. We really don't want to tie ourselves up with this guy if the value isn't there. The club seems to have turned a new page though so thankfully, I doubt they will.

He is a good player with some good offloads and a heavy workload. But if anyone thinks he is amazing, they should watch a Canberra Raiders game to put things in perspective.

A coach being sacked, interim coach with speculation about new coach and accusations being thrown around that the players are running the club, media asking questions he cant answer, and again and again…... new coach, being approached by other clubs with offers he has to consider , and trying to focus on footy all the while with a percentage of your supporter base questioning yout loyalty.? Probably enough there to give him a few restless nights I would have thought. .

And the rest of the team dealt with the same thing, apart from some of the supporter base questioning their loyalty, although they haven't done anything to warrant that. Just not sure what he's comparing his situation to, Robbie went through 18 months of what? The same as Woods because he was on the same team, except the club see Woods as an important part of the future.

The longer this Woods/Tedesco contract saga drags on the less likely it will be, if and when they decide to leave Wests Tigers, that the club will be able to effectively use the new CAP money they have, to sign the replacement players they really want. Surely these two will make a decision within the next week as a mark of respect for the club?

Looking at at Woods on Fox Sports just makes me want to see him walk out the door. PK continues to grill him with questions and he has no genuinity or feeling behind them. When asked about Moses he says that he didn't question his signing with Parramatta but just asked him to work hard "week in, week out," until he leaves… Eh

well im glad he said he doesnt want to make a decision when he is angry and not in the right mind set

I read from it that we MIGHT still have a chance to keep him

How about saying he wished he'd stay here and win a premiership? What a captain hey. Surely there's no one on here who still defends this clown??

Can someone enlighten me as why he is "so angry"
If I'm not mistaken he has had a contract tabled for a long time with us that would reward him and make him one of if not the highest paid prop in the NRL and he and/or his manager has stuffed around for months and months…......I'd like to be so angry :crazy
