This can't be right, I thought the Dogs were better run than us?

I think a few clubs may have over-estimated what next year's salary cap may be.

I think they have too and I think some will run the gauntlet on it and challenge the NRL for being so wishy washy on the actual figure. Of course we won't be one of those clubs :smiley:

yeah, this is probably the real reason for any delays not some "still trying to make up our minds" bit.

Going to be interesting to see what happens, I'd expect a number of unhappy Dogs supporters at least. Hard to field a team when you have a few players taking up the bulk of your cap.

Wouldn't it be great if Isaac Moses tactic of drawing out negotiations with the Tigers as long as possible to sure up deals with Canterbury & the Roosters results in the NRL not being prepared to register Woods & Teddy's contracts with these clubs. Knowing these clubs I'm sure that this will not eventuate but it would be very satisfying if it did and we may get one or both re-signed for less than what was originally offered…............... I know I'm dreaming but one can live in hope!!

You very much underestimate Isaac Moses. He has not finished screwing the club over.
Both will be signed, sealed and delivered in a couple of days and more players will follow…but dream on.

Maybe the club sent Warren McDonald in to the dogs as a mole to chew up their cap and destroy them from the inside. Why on earth would the dogs be looking at a rep prop when they're already spending a disproportionate sum on their pack and their spine is one of the worst in the comp?

What are you talking about? We have no players of any value left unsigned.

Mate just out of curiosity, you seem to know a bit about the goings on in the club, what is the guys beef with us? Is it something simple, or numerous things?

Well those players can leave too, any player happy to stand by and watch his manager screw the club over can leave as far as I am concerned. I want players like Nofa who love the club and want to be here, Cleary will weed them out any way.

Woods on breakfast radio. I'd be very surprised if he does not sign with dogs. Sounds like club taking hard stance. Woods said he wanted to press conference after bulldogs game but club informed him that given him night off. He said that in the sense it would not bothered him to go press conference with all the drama and was the clubs call. Said had not signed with dogs or tigers or anyone yet but will do soon. My sense dogs.

After reading chammas SMH article saying his dirty we put deadline.

What did he expect? For us to sit and wait while the Dogs sort out their situation or for us to be there if they can't? If he wants to stay advise your slimed manage to call Pascoe and ask if the offer can be signed.

Which Chammas article was that? I dont recall it.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Canterbury low balled him now.

- Tigers pull contract, sign Big Ben;
- Canterbury: "Sorry Aaron, we're over the cap, we can only offer you this much now."
- Woods: "Aw &^%$…"
