JT just said on 2UE that Wests Tigers WON'T be adding to the roster for 2015 & that all recent rumours are just that RUMOURS.

Aaaaaarrrrhhhh , Yes , But…is that statement just an official rumour, to make the other rumours look like rumours , so we won't be able to know which rumour is really a rumour, and which rumour isn't really a rumour ??? :brick:

Santi is about as close as you could get to a Fulton clone. Except for the fact he's over 100kgs.

All heart, tackles like a machine. Less ball skills but better running the ball.

Lovett hasn't impressed as much last year as was hoped. He may have a few leadership skills but his attack is largely non existent. Tackles well but not quite the same work rate as Santi.

always thought santi was head and shoulders above lovett, was stoked to hear he was returning. lovett's still decent, but not quite as good (least not yet).

Agreed. It was puzzling when they let him go to Parra and keep Lovett two years ago.

Yeah same here….i always thought Lovett was a little one dimensional..Joel Thompson kind of hole runner where as Santi looked the complete footballer.

I remember his last game in 20's in the semi, the bloke did everythig he could to get us over the line.

Sorry if I missed it earlier but I assume we are NOT paying any part of Blairs salary next year??

Read today the Bronc's are supposedly paying $200K on Barba and $150K !!!!!! On Kennedy next year

Dazza …I believe if the release was sought by the Player as was the case with Blair then all obligations cease..Whereas in Barba and Kennedy's case the were told by the Broncos to find another Club so any shortfall in Salary from there new Clubs must be met by them...

I'm just waiting for Blair's first interview where he says how much more professional and better run the Broncs are compared to us, and everyone gets their pitch forks out and try and crucify him for speaking the truth. It will happen in the next couple weeks, i'm calling it.

When we lose a few games after a bunch of injuries and Robbie gets all upset we'll head down the same path - nobody will take responsibility & JT won't be able to coach. Shame really.

Why are we a basket case ???? Seriously I don't get it.

Really? Did our new coach come out not even 2 days ago and say no signings for at least the next 2 yrs? Did Anasta not just come out a couple days ago and say he's owed money, and that he isn't the only player who is?

Whats not to get?

His comments will be meaningless considering he won't have trained a single day under the new Tigers regime.

We're still a basket case, nothing has changed.

There is two ways of looking at this GNR.If our onfield performances improve thru our juniors gee our salary cap room will attract some top talent.I know we forever say next year but the seeds now seem to be getting sowed for something good.

How can we afford top talent if we can't sign anyone for at least 2 yrs? To release as much cap space as we have then for our coach to come out and say ''no signings for 2 yrs'', somethings gotta be seriously wrong.

I really don't see it as being that bad. Anasta is a moron who hasn't been paid 3rd party payments. Does he deserve anything for his time with us ? He was terrible.

Who cares about the no new signings. All I care about is on field performances and I'll wait and see what happens next year.
