I am a big Wests Tigers fan so I dont want to "LEAK" anything that will be of detriment to the Wests Tigers.I dont use this site as a platform for me to beat my chest saying look at me look how smart I am.The Pom is another poster who is good at keepin his very knowledgable(inside knowledge) trap shut until stuff is finalised.Everytime we "LEAK'' we put another hole in the great ship that we want the Wests Tigers to be.If some people are sooooo offended cause someone truly knows something they should go and get a life.

Who's offended… the LEAKS are still getting out as you allude to knowing the Blair situation before it happened .....which is somewhat concerning.....

Whos offended? Not you but LCA was.Actually make of this what you will but I knew about 4 days ago but if you want to know something real funny(but true).I was told Blair was leaving for the Broncos about 2 weeks ago off a person I work with.At the time I said no way and I didnt believe it.He just came back from holidays and I met up with him tonight and he said see "I told you Blair was going to the Broncos".It was only then I remembered our convo from two weeks ago re Blair(since I dismissed it at the time thinking it was rubbish)and I said to myself s*** he was right. This person I spoke to told me tonight his bloke is always on the money in addition to which this guy I spoke to has a brother in our NSW cup team(Not naming names) apart from his Blair source so It would make sense he knew. Now Geo I know this post will draw the attention of a "select few" but I can swear to you I was told Blair to broncos two weeks ago.So my question is Isnt it good that hardly anyone knew this for two weeks?re leaks etc.

I have a solution for you Jerry (if you like )

I have told Geo ( and others ) on the Forum stuff that I couldn't put out their because of the nature of the info and you can trust him , he has never leaked anything

So next time you get the inside goss on something , just PM Geo with it

Then when the story breaks and you say I knew this a week ago , Geo can confirm it

Jerry on the previous post,
you were banging on about me trying to pull you onto an argument. Well I was only agreeing with a post from Geo and was unaware that we now had to run a post past you to get the ok to post it. (And I never mentioned Farah at all.).
Maybe you should stop being so precious.

I'm not a twitterer , but what was the other players reactions to Blair leaving ??

The only reason I ask is when we saw him at the airport up north he didn't seem to mix much with the other players

Just for the record, I think Blair is a major loss - he was one of our best and most consistent players in 2014, and one of the best in a NZ side that won the Four Nations. He is at the peak of his career right now. We would have been better off with him, in 2015 and beyond.

There had better be a 'plan' that benefits from cashing him in now, otherwise, what with losing him and Austin, we are going backwards at the moment.

Rubbish…..Blair is bum.....every time I watched the bloke play i was throwing my beer at the TV....just dumb niggly rubbish. Better off without him.Watch Sue and Santi kick arse this year.

And Moses is WAY better than Austen, and we have a handy back up in Martin.

WE are way better off and have more cash to boot.

I'm starting to think this way as well. Adding to that Blair was on big dollars.

If we have more cash to boot and JT is apparently not spending it, what's the value in having it available? We've lost our starting second row and lock from last year. Big ask on the kids to step up and perform.

Here is an assessment of Blairs value in the Kiwi's recent 4 Nations win:

Scroll down to number 10\. This is what we have lost.

Thanks for the link NT,out of the whole Kiwi side Blair had the worst rating…he proved to us that he was very overrated and I don't know what happened to him between Storm and coming to us,we are yet to see if the great WB has bought a dud or not or he just didn't put in for us like he should of,anyway he is gone and all we can do is try and progress toward a winning culture in 2015,what we are going to win with is another story.......... 😱pen_mouth:

Losing Blair is in my opinion is a 2 edged sword we get cap relief and get rid of the under performing slug. Now the other side of the sword is experience which will be missing in the forwards well we have 3 blokes in the front of this scrum in robbie, woodsy, and Galloway now if those 3 blokes can't help and guide the back 3 they need to have a good hard look at themselves our backs need some help in experience with only Lawrence (ugh)
And Richards there injurys will hopefully be a thing of the past for us now touch wood will we make the eight next year properbly not but I'm not expecting miracles from this current squad I just want them to have a go for 80 mins not 60 or 70 but 80 and finish without the spoon and I will be content

JT just said on 2UE that Wests Tigers WON'T be adding to the roster for 2015 & that all recent rumours are just that RUMOURS.

JT said 'our cap was in trouble, but we will have plenty to spend in 2016,but if the right player arose then he would look to buy",he also admitted centre and secondrow were our trouble spots.
Brandy questioned Lawrence and his form/fitness,JT said "he is one player he is most looking forward to working with,he hasn't had a proper off season for ages, and this year he will have".

Watch Sue and Santi kick arse this year.

Santi - a reserve grader who couldn't even make first grade at Parramatta.

He is an outstanding talent who shone in our under 20's and at rep level.

Cant wait to see more of him this year.

I agree Simon , might take a little while for Santi to adjust but once he does can see a Fulton type player all over again

Looking forward to seeing more of the kids esp Liolevave, Mania and Te Maire.

apart from Santi how is Lovett looking? I didn't get a chance to see much of him in 2014.

Santi is about as close as you could get to a Fulton clone. Except for the fact he's over 100kgs.

All heart, tackles like a machine. Less ball skills but better running the ball.

Lovett hasn't impressed as much last year as was hoped. He may have a few leadership skills but his attack is largely non existent. Tackles well but not quite the same work rate as Santi.

Totally agreed , the kid has a brilliant motor and will see a lot of 1st grade next year

I get more excited about the kids coming through than poaching someone.

Ya watch them in the lowers and u see a spark and then if they make it to firsts its a real buzz.

IMO im happy with the backrow stocks we have. Akoula,Sue,Santi,Sirro all have huge potential and i reckon its the way to go to take a punt on our locals.
