AD looks fit and ready, which is a good sign for us. LM on the other hand looks like he will be struggling to be fully matchfit for round 1 based on a few pics I've seen. Still pumped for us atm with the recent signings. Let's hope they all gel quickly as a team.

Not being a negative nelly, just I recall a lot of revisionist commentary about JRey between today and back when we signed him.

I'm pleased for AD to be aboard, hope he does well, let's see some performance on-field now.

In an attempt to have one last shot at WT over the Doueihi signing, the Telegraph are reporting the deal as worth $2.5 million with the clear inference we are paying massive overs to get the kid. Think I read in one of the threads on this forum the correct amount is $1.9 million. They sure as hell do not like us!

cover a portion of Doueihi's 2020
and 2021 salary, which is estimated

And I have said before EVERY COACH HAS A PLAN. What sort of profound statement is it to say our coach has a plan. I’d be worried if he didn’t.

That guy would have our cap balanced perfectly with a premiership ready roster, depth and all.

Anyway looking forward to the official announcement...there will be pressure on Doueihi to hit the ground running given all that's gone on...hope he slays it..

Pascoe also said we are look for speed, AD is not a speedy player.

Souths fans did. The ones I know are really pissed.

No doubting he is a hard worker and does show potential, but from the few games I’ve seen him play and a lack of highlights doesn’t have me super excited about his signing and feel it’s a solid signing which is at a fair price if he turns out to be a star, otherwise he is a high priced could have been on a 4 year deal. I guess this would apply to almost any player signed by any nrl club.

I truely hope he works out and lives up to the high expectations and leaves me with egg on my face, in which case I will happily take the eggs, add some bacon and eat them on a fine September morning before heading off to watch the Tigers play in a finals match!

Trouble is people have a different opinion of what is a high price. Seems reasonable to me to pay a spine player about 485k a year and sign a young spine player to a 4 year deal.

Will never please everyone.
