Addo Carr signs with Storm...

I work with JACs mums best mate and she said that he's spreading the storm rumour to drive his price up and he only wants to sign with the Tigers. If I'm wrong you can call me a liar, I don't care

You said he had signed with Melbourne about two weeks ago.

Let's all hope that he is wrong. No offence to Marzie but it's not an official signing.

I don't remember saying that. I have no idea what is going on really I just think that if you think about it logically it makes more sense that he will stay.

1\. All of his family including himself are massive tigers fans and all live in Sydney
2\. Staying connected to the Redfern area seems to mean a great deal to him. Plays in some sort of Redfern Koori knockout competition every year.
3\. He was signed on a 1 year deal and is only asking 150k per year extension which is fair and the Tigers could easily pay.
4\. He was quoted as saying that he is happy to learn his trade in nsw cup and any NRL games he gets to play are a blessing.
5\. Melbourne have recently signed 3-4 outside backs and have a huge amount of depth/competition in those positions - far less competition for a spot on the wing at Tigers.
6\. He seems to have fit in really well and to be really enjoying himself at Tigers.

I consider all of that and that makes me think that he will stay

Well I hope I'm wrong cause he is a good player and would like to keep him

I certainly hope you are right marzie. You didn't just make this post up in response to the post about his dad's mate did you?

I feel positive he will stay as well but until the tiger's announce it we are in the dark. If the storm had signed him I think it would have been announced by now. I think we will see him signed up not long after Brooks and Moses are signed up

I think it's a lot more then resigning a promising young player. At the moment we're a low profile club, probably the lowest profile club in Sydney. We have low members, it's half way through the season and we've had 1 Friday night game (which was more about the Broncos then us).

JAC is the kind of guy that people will come to games to watch. Kids will pretend to be him in their backyards. He has the X factor, he is an entertainer who has swag about him.

I know they're probably great blokes but no one outside of our fans care about Rankin or Hunt. JAC could be a household name in NSW and QLD in a couple of years. I really see this as a vital signing for us.

We've had two Friday night games but still that isn't great.

Lol.. I love this thread it's just everybody trying to tell themselves he is staying .. Personally I love him, when I see him named I am cheering..

The thing we need to remember is that we support the Wests Tigers if it wasn't for the eels we would probably have the worst management in the NRL which will hurt our chances of retaining him..

If he is resigned I hope he is one that we sign on a 3,4 or 5 year deal as he is the goods no doubt..

We can only hope..

It's great to have an x-factor back in the team again isn't it?

Your spot on.

He has really re-ignited my interest in our team, hes something to get excited about

To me what makes me think he has it is…..usually players with only 3 1st Grade games to there name just go about things quietly, he oozes in confidence that makes you think has he got cockiness about him or he believes in his talent and ability? I'm thinking his got the goods within him and he knows it.

Good on him and I hope we keep him for many years to come.

If all you guys are as passionate about Josh Addo-Carr why don't you send an email to Justin Pascoe-
I did - we can't keep losing these good players like we have been, doesn't make sense to me :crazy :crazy :crazy
