Addo Carr signs with Storm...

If all you guys are as passionate about Josh Addo-Carr why don't you send an email to Justin Pascoe-
I did - we can't keep losing these good players like we have been, doesn't make sense to me :crazy :crazy :crazy

I will, what's the email address?

I was at the game on Friday night and Ado Carr was the first to run over to the away supporters and celebrate. His energy and passion was very evident. Reminded me of Beau Ryan is his day.

It's a no brainer that he has to be in the side somewhere. Not only because of his ability, but also his marketability. He's the type of player that will attract kids, and attracting kids = attracting supporters, and attracting supporters = $$$$

There's money to be made in this kid.

Ado Carr will also take some of the pressure off Teddy. When our attack starts to breakdown we often throw the ball to Teddy and say "here do some magic" now we have two wizards .

Not tryin to stir anything but where has Milone been? Didn't see him in NSW cup last week?

And he was out first choice back up…

I think it's a lot more then resigning a promising young player. At the moment we're a low profile club, probably the lowest profile club in Sydney. We have low members, it's half way through the season and we've had 1 Friday night game (which was more about the Broncos then us).

JAC is the kind of guy that people will come to games to watch. Kids will pretend to be him in their backyards. He has the X factor, he is an entertainer who has swag about him.

I know they're probably great blokes but no one outside of our fans care about Rankin or Hunt. JAC could be a household name in NSW and QLD in a couple of years. I really see this as a vital signing for us.

Agreed!!

I get to see very few games but when I did go recently I was equally excited to see JAC in action as I was to see the team in action. Then he didn't play… :frowning:

So I absolutely get it.

Excellent idea.

And weren't we told that Buckets visits here?

If so it's be hard to miss these 17 pages… it's constantly highlighted on latest posts. That's got to tell him something!

That article is an interesting read. Saying how much his footy has improved since he moved in with his family at Leichhardt is surely critical for him and his future. I know the concept of family is very big in the Aboriginal culture, and if it's had such a big impact on his life and grounding himself to focus on his ability can you really see him moving interstate, away from all his family, for what would be only a marginal pay increase, if that?

He has something special about him and has the ability and personality to bring people through the gates.

Something happens when he touches the ball.

We need genuine speed on the flanks.

We need him resigned asap.

well that's ^ gonna raise his price tag by a few K's.

every young kid nowadays seems to think that they are the best. no one is willing to play a season or two in the state cup to get the experience. then, when they make mistakes in first grade, they sit back and make an excuse of inexperience.

idk if it's the system's fault or the player/manager's. first grade is the pinnacle. you can't expect to get a guaranteed start there if you haven't played and owned lower levels on a regular basis.

rankin may not have the talent of JAC but at least he went away for a few years, got heaps of experience and then came back after being thrown in the deep end early on. rankin or JAC, i honestly dont mind who plays on the wing- a winger is the least of our worries.

we need to reward consistency and hardwork, not just talent.

Great article,
He has got that X factor, just the way he read and intercepted those two lofted passes on the weekend.
He is a "must keep", but let's see how slow we are to re-sign him.

Gotta laugh how some people want to turn this around and blame the Tigers for not signing him; we DID sign him and were one of few clubs to identify his potential. You'd think that if Taylor is talking about how excited he is to see what he can do for us then he's going to be around first grade for most of the season. Also if the Storm had signed him, we'd know. It'd be publicised and people would be saying its a done deal.

What do you JAC lovers think he's worth though? Realistically? $200k for 2 years if this form continues for mine. He'd only be 22 at the end of it.

200k per year or 100k per year over 2 years? Apparently only asking 150k per year. On that money I'd sign him for 3 years minimum

I will, what's the email address?

Are you a member of the club  I have the address in my file, so it must have come in one of the letters they send, but I don't think I should give it out over this forum. I got it in an email CEO update October 2015, so if you can check back you may have that too and his email address will be in that email Good Luck
