I've said many times that JAC is a potential game breaker, if he isn't already. Blind Freddy could see his talent with the way he was tearing it up in NSW Cup. It's absolutely absurd that he wasn't given more opportunities in the top grade earlier. Arguments put forward by posters included that he needed more experience, better defense, blah, blah, blah. What a load of rubbish. How is he supposed to get more experience unless he's blooded in the top side? In his handful of games he has shown he is outstanding under the high ball, a dynamo in attack and that he can defend. Not only that but he's combative and a bit feisty - just what you want in a young winger. Now that he seems to have been given his rightful spot ahead of Rankin, we learn that he has probably gone. And why? Because of the stubborn, short sighted attitude of Taylor. The comment that he is only a winger is nonsense too. You cannot coach speed, raw ability or some of the skills JAC demonstrated in the last game. The Tigers need speed out wide, a player to finish off moves and someone other than Tedesco to run the length of the field. Additionally, wingers do much more than finish these days, including taking settlers down their end and JAC has shown he can do this. This latest failure to hang on to young talent, hot on the heels of the Koro and Martin departures, has annoyed me big time. The club couldn't find an extra 20 000 or whatever it was to keep a player who clearly wanted to be at the club???? Have I missed something?
