The longer this gets drawn out the better it looks for us imo. What's that old saying about no news being good news. It would take time to negotiate a release than come to terms to a contract with us. Fingers and toes crossed that that is why both clubs have remained silent the last couple of weeks.
@Pawsandclaws said:@innsaneink said:He'd just been signed to the club from Sharks 20s and you want the club to extend him with a new contract before a ball had been kicked?
Idiot
And what, continous improvement within the club is not ongoing? That because we have him for one year we rest and wait for the club's who have set a higher bar in terms of performance on and off the field to come and take him? Funny way to run a business and questions need to be asked about our professional coaching staff!
And come on, be constructive!

I hold onto this hope - JAC quoted in an article on NRL.com, which was recently posted on here by Newtown.
Melbourne is a loooong way from Leichhardt and it sounds like he has had enough of moving house for a while. Come on Mumma Jac and Aunty Jac (lol) - convince him to stay!!!

@TYGA said:Its all about priorities and leaving wingers until last makes sense. The issue is we are loosing low cost wingers with huge upside which, is concerning. (Koro & JAC). It does not make sense for a young club building a roster. The blind support of Rankin would have contributed and I suspect the delay in Moses and Brooks taking options along with resigning of forwards would have played a part.
There is a bigger issue at play and that is the release of players that have potential but NEED COACHING.
Problem is Taylor is not qualified to shine Bellamys shoes.

Doesn't need to - he wears suede shoes.
@Pawsandclaws said:We've pulled a young man from the Under 20s and put him in the front row and he has been excellent. This is one of the hardest positions on the field! JAC was not up against a first grade winger. He was up against a former inside back who had played in the ESL not the NRL!

Yes it is, the link is at the bottom of the Zero Tackle article.
It is not even a feature article on the SMH, rather just a stocking filler piece from one of their columnist who appears has been trolling this forum again.
