Sheens signed Anasta so he could play halfback 😂. Probably proves your point that Sheens would always overthink and be too creative.

Look the Anasta thing was a punt, a risk.
Sheens thinking was right "teams are marking Robbie Farah and Benji Marshall, we need another playmaker to create something".

Which makes sense. You put Anasta as a ballplaying lock, center or even 5/8 to Marshall at halfback you get more attacking options.
But it did not work because Anasta was done. Plus killing Beau Ryan/Heighington to bring Anasta + Blair looked good on paper, bad in practise.
