Look the Anasta thing was a punt, a risk.Sheens signed Anasta so he could play halfback 😂. Probably proves your point that Sheens would always overthink and be too creative.
Sheens thinking was right "teams are marking Robbie Farah and Benji Marshall, we need another playmaker to create something".
Which makes sense. You put Anasta as a ballplaying lock, center or even 5/8 to Marshall at halfback you get more attacking options.
But it did not work because Anasta was done. Plus killing Beau Ryan/Heighington to bring Anasta + Blair looked good on paper, bad in practise.
