First half. Reminds me of tolman a bit. We need someone lie him though. we also need someone like vete too.

I am happy to have him at the club, particularly as I have found Felise a bit underwhelming this year, but regardless of the stats, he was not up to his par against our cellar dwellers on Saturday.

Its honestly hard to get up against cellar dwellars. no matter what anyone says, if your a top team playing a bottom team you dont go as hard. Always been the case.

Wentworthville are coming 10th in a 12 team comp..yes Wests Tigers are in the cellar but they are far from a top team…

Alex has been among their best with good pedigree..

Should be great competition between Eisenhuth and Twal. One of them will be in with a real shot at being in our top 17 for next year but I'd be surprised if they both were…good motivation for them to perform!

Welcome to the Tigers. Twal reminds me of a young Jesse Bromwich. He will do well in 12-18 months.

Funny that Parramatta have released him with Beau Scott out for the year. Suggests that he is a fair way down their pecking order.
I would be worried if I was Felise.
I think he will play this weekend given Grant is out, Ava had another disciplinary brain snap, and Woods may not back up 48 hours after origin.
I hope he gets a go before the end of the year to see what he is made of. I would pick him ahead of Ava.

I thought the same after hearing Beau Scott is gone for the year. But I think it makes sense….
Parra would be reluctant to further provide opportunities to the kid by giving him an NRL debut given he's already signed with us for next year.
It's probably the best outcome for all parties as we can give him a start and get him used to the environment at WT

Good news to see Twal on board for the remainder of this season. Like Eisenhuth, he's got a good motor and if he gets his chance, hopefully he'll help improve our defence around the ruck, which is poor to say the least.

15 - Alex Twal
Club: Wentworthville Magpies; TOTW selections: 6.

17 total runs, 151 total metres, 61 post-contact metres, one tackle-break, 35 tackles.
Alex Twal has been the cornerstone of the Magpies forward pack throughout 2017, and his performance on the weekend is a glaring example of his impact on his side. His strong carries throughout the contest continuously put Wentworthville on the front foot, and his efforts in defence were far from unnoticed as recorded 35 tackles.

Yep looks like he had a terrible game. 151 metres and 35 tackles. He should be ashamed of himself.

haha your hard markers ??

Did you watch the game?

You must have been watching the wrong player if the stats are anything to go by or were you expecting to see the reincarnation of Arthur beetson?

I watched it, thought he was pretty solid rather than outstanding. Certainly not poor like some have said, but TOTW honours does seem surprising.

He has a big frame, though hasn't really filled out as of yet so may struggle against the big bodies in the NRL. I'm all for giving him a run this year so that he's good to go in 2018.

I'd suggest he has a NRL work ethic at 20 years of age. He and Eisenhuth also bring with them that tall rangy frame which means high work rate and mobility. This should complement both Packer and Matulino.

Hey guys here's of twal playing in the u20s state of origin last year it's the full game.

Of course I was expecting a mildly skilled youngster to play like Beetson, but with double the work rate and that is why I made sure that I was watching the correct player.

if he plays in the 1st grade this could cause a few problems with in the camp, with a few of the other forwards thinking they should have been giving a go, even though none have preform well. but twal done nothing last week either to warrant selection.
