I've been saying this for 2 years. He also hits holes better then all our forwards, a key ingredient in a backrower. I'm not convinced it would work, but it's worth a look.

One of my favourite memories was the last match of the season at Cambo v Manly a few years ago.

From memory, Twal was standing quite wide just inside their half when he got the ball. He fended off a defender and set sail down field at pace He stepped inside Turbo Tom, but Turbo came again and caught him from behind. As he did, Twal slipped the ball to Mbye who scored under the post. Majic.

From that day forward, I have wanted to see how Twal would go as an edge backrower.

I just want to give a big wrap to Twaly as he’s been great all season and in my opinion has never let us down over the duration of his career with us, despite many lean seasons.
I know his contribution polarises our fan base, some see his value and importance, others don’t think he offers us much, but one thing that cannot be debated is he always gives 💯 and wears his heart on his sleeve.
I think he’s a much more valuable team member than many give him credit for.
