Hmm the WT's office at Concord must be using outdated calenders, can someone let them know its 2012 not 2007.

We wont win another premiership paying big $'s to players like Anasta.

We keep hearing we need size and intimidation up front and then I hear there stories.

You all know deep, deep down in your hearts that if we got him Tim would play him in the second row - I absolutely GUARANTEE it!!

HAHAHA maybe even prop Helmesy .lol

Yeah he's going to be the next Paul Gallen :unamused:

The days of ball playing locks are over. A lock is basically a third prop to bash and barge and I can't see Anasta being used for that role. Though it is Sheens we are talking about, the same man who played Corey Payne and Danny Galea as props.

Not sure what to think of this, Anasta has lost a yard of pace but he has two things that I like: ticker and a very good long kicking game.

If we do get Anasta and Mason to join Utai, we will be like the RSPCA shelter where old Dog's find a home

Mateo is a ball playing lock /second rower Hybrid

He can still be effective (especially against us)

No thank you! Much prefer putting money into our juniors with potential and/or YOUNGER players, getting sick of buying washed up older players, gotta start planning for the future considering a lot of our players are reaching late 20's and 30's

Who is in their 30's? We have a very young team from watching them over the last month.

Who are these old washed up players that you are referring to? i've seen this line used a couple times, yet no one can actually name any of them

Wouldn't say no to anasta but I think curtis sironen is a young player developing similar to anasta's game (that is a 5/8 or a back rower) and i think he is a better prospect. Whatever it is they are wanting from Anasta there is a good chance sironen can provide it in the future.

I don't think it would be a bad thing…. We have had such a young side for so long a bit of experience wouldn't go astray. We sign some good youngsters but then end up loosing them the next year, it's time to get some experience into the team.... Anasta is a good player and shouldn't be ridden off, unlike mason.... We don't want him

Mateo is awesome. If i could pick anyone to replace Ellis with it would be him

No thanks, tends to go missing in defence at times, we already have enough dramas without Mateo adding to it.

LOL why does he hate us? did he criticize our play on the footy show one day. Because Nathan Hindmarsh did that one day and apparently that means he hates us. The hide of the man :imp:
