Api didnt have a good game today though
No he didn't but he certainly was not the reason NSW lost so badly against QLD,the players on the field lost the game not the blokes on the bench who didn't even get on.

Have to agree, didn’t have a real good game today imo.
Our fans have long been over rating his performances over the past couple of years as they have been with Bula and it is fan pressure that have forced us into paying way overs to retain these players.
If Tristan Hope played like Api did today he would be ridiculed and kicked to the curb, but Api because of his reputation he escapes criticism.

I think API had a bad game but 1 bad game ever 2 seasons is ok everyone has a off day and he has runs on the board
They played yesterday like a team so wound up on edge desperate for the win that they forgot to do the little things first
.
Geez that is a rubbish post against a player that has a bad game. To mention Tristan Hope in the same breath as Api is why people give you very little credibility.

I think both API and Turuva probably tried to hard yesterday as the mistakes made were just to simple , over doing stuff can also make your game go pear shaped pretty quick , both looked like they were going 100 mph but others were going at 50

Api was poor yesterday ..it was his worst game in a year though …so I suppose you can forgive him for one game ..
When is the penny going to drop with Turuva …should not be selected at Center …seems to have his worst games there ..
He has plenty of bad games where his dummy half service is poor and his defence is average at best, but he gets away with it in the minds of the majority of our fans based on his name and reputation.
He will be a passenger in 2027 and even worse in 2028, we should have let him get his retirement pay cheque at Perth Bears.
He is too old and being small and fragile he is now over paid and over rated.
He is not capable of playing more than 50 decent minutes each game and that will only diminish as he gets older in 2027 and 2028.
It will not be garbage when we continue with our downward trajectory due to having too many over paid and overrated players.
Api has had a great career, but age catches up with everyone and he being a small sized hooker it is even harder for him.
We are paying him somewhere around 700k in 2027, way too much and just another inflated contract to that prevents us from looking to sign players who are still in their prime and have the qualities to help us score points and win games.
