Talk of 'Invasion Day' really gets my back up - people tend to forget the world was a different place over 200 years ago.
Nations conquered other nations and took the spoils.
Although I don't agree with what the Aborigines endured, taking a viewpoint from our time, it was the norm in those days.
It was distasteful and regrettable and should not be forgotten - but it sure as hell was not my fault.
Everyone is entitled to enjoy the day - no matter what anybody else thinks.
My hope is everyone can enjoy it together.
Disease that the white man brought killed far more Aborigines , Native North ,Central and South Americans Indians , Hawaiians and the South Pacific Islanders than they killed with guns ,cannons or any other device
