Never been a massive fan of his, but last night, I thought he was tremendous. Added enormous go forward when he came on, and played a really long spell, presumably because of Halatau's injury. Was one of the best in a very good performance by the forwards. If he can reproduce that sort of form over the next few weeks, he'll have me as a fan.

He was great last night. I thought that he has been good in a beaten team over the past few weeks as well.

He was tremendous , probably his best game in a Wests Tigers Jersey . Every carry had a purpose and took the initiative to fill the void Woods left .

I could have written exactly the same - but you beat me to it.

He was good - best I have seen him - hope he can keep it up.

Yeti,I fully agree. The whole bench last night was great.Hopefully Sue will to the back row next week.I can never remember the Tigers having such a big team.

I have been critical of his performances this year but the last few weeks he has started to come good, last night he was really good. Let's hope this is a huge sign for the rest of the season and many years to come as a Tiger

Up until last night I had felt Ava had been under-utilised this year. He has trimmed down and is clearly fitter than last year and deserved the big stint last night and showed he is more than capable of taking it up to any pack in the comp. His leg drive was great and defensively he was busy.

Big fan of Seumanufagai…he has been doing his job week in week out since his FG debut...he is the domestic Prop that every team needs...,makes metres after contact which usually leads to a quick play the ball,,,he has also picked up his defence from marker which has been a weakness in the last couple of weeks....

Ava's stats from last night,,,(53 minutes) - 162 metres in attack, 22 tackles, 1 missed tackle are top shelf for any bench Prop...

I would definitely re-sign him as he wont cost the earth,,,

The problem was that he was underutilised by both Potter and Taylor :frowning:
He is one player we must re-sign, IMHO our props shall be:
Woods and Seumanufagai, with Lodge and Galloway this year and
Lodge and Graham/Grant/Felise from the next year,

He makes metres after contact every carry and has a surprisingly big motor, he's just criminally underused in our current set up. Keef has been an incredible player and person for our club but I doubt we'll see the best of Ava until he leaves.

I was a big fan last year but I think this season he hasn't kicked on as much as I expected him today. The last couple of games though he has been great.

Spot on.

He has definitely been under utilized by Taylor and last night he proved it.

He is playing well at the moment , he was my pick at the start of the season a be a big improver

I still think that you will find at the end of the season he will top the highest metres per hit up for our props

Really noticed his strong hitups and metreage on Friday night which was no small achievement given souffs pack.

There was point the other night where I thought he was due to go off, but he powered through another ten minutes with great hit-ups. Just relentless. We're lucky a team like Manly hasn't tried to nab him.
