Balmain were always gold to me.

Yes, what was that old Balmain saying ?

"Black and Orange will never fold".

No, that doesn't sound quite right.

Surely someone can definitely know what colour Balmain was ... someone has to know ! SOMEONE !!!!please someone ....let’s put it to bed !

@fibrodreaming yeah “the black and gold never fold” and from the team song “here come the tigers wearing black and gold, stout hearted men all fit and bold...”

So what is the tigers song in thr sheds? I try to understand thr lyrics, but all i hear is nofo banging his stud on a esky 😑

G'day @jirskyr: you're obviously free to call our team whatever you like when you
'aren't' on this forum.
But please have the courtesy to say we are the Wests Tigers when you 'are' on our forum. I hope you don't feel that is too much to ask. Thanking you in advance :relaxed: and enjoy the Wests Tigers winning on Sunday :v:

Mate, I can feel another disagreement coming on for us here, you are rocking a Magpies username and just turned into the forum police over someone referring to our team by our actual nickname? Sometimes it is better to think before you post! We are the Tigers, We are Wests, we are the Wests Tigers and I think people should be able to use any of those when referring to "our" team!

Wests Tigers spiritual grounds are Campbelltown and Leichhardt, that is where they played their first season. So LO is actually our spiritual ground.

Is the white on the original Magpies Jerseys more of a snow-white, or a bleached-white?

I'd say the Wests Tigers white is more of a milky-white.

These questions keep me up at night.

Not happening bro. I literally can't tell if you are being ironically serious or seriously ironic. That fine line.

They had to say gold as nothing rhymes with orange. Well maybe sporange.

"here come the tigers wearing black and orange, stout hearted men except for their sporange. "

Doesn't have the same ring to it.

Life must be good then. Happy for you.. 😂😂😂😂

Hey when we are done here, can someone open a thread about that Magpie on the sleeve?

I have some serious misgivings about its size and location, that i don't think have been raised here before :triumph: :rage:

Maybe Balmain were Black and orange and Western Suburbs were Ebony and Ivory.

Thread closed, thanks to the peanuts who can't stick to a topic and feel the need to swear and make things personal...imbeciles.

Thread re-opened..

The Wests Ashfield and Balmain League's Club amalgamation is to proceed.

The vote for amalgamation went ahead tonight at Wests Ashfield Leagues Club and was virtually unanimous carried.

Some good news...
