Whilst on inaccuracy - I believe that the JV chose the WT colours from a combination of Western Suburbs black and white and Balmains black and gold. So it became black, white and gold. Where does the orange come from?
Balmain never played in orange or any derivative of orange.
So old Wests supporters get upset about WT being called Balmain.
Old Balmain supporters get upset about WT wearing orange and not gold.
That is 50/50 so I guess it is all good.
That comparison is nonsensical. Wests supporters get upset that there is a perception that we are a rebranded Balmain. No one will interpret us as the Magpies playing in a different shade of orange.
Merely pointing out the inaccuracy of orange substituted for gold.
But whatever GNR - you are right as usual.
Not saying you don't have a point about being annoyed at the different shade of colour, but it is not comparable to the club perceived as Balmain. No one perceives the club as the Magpies because of a different shade of colour. Its not the same.
