Remember the 2 teams before the joint venture? Remember the type of players we had? I do, we had players with more heart than ability.

These guys didnt have the talent of our current team, but wat they did have was heart without ego.

Guys like Hodgo, Mescia, Damien Kennedy, Skando, Senter, Gillette, O'Halloran, O'neill, Walker….id take these guys any day over our current sooks.

Thankfully a number of the sooks will be gone next year, only about 7 more to axe and we might just start getting a team with heart. Thats all i want, heart. Guys who worry about footy and not off field drama, politics and self promotion.

I remember the Pies teams of 80's and 90's who were full of Nevilles but those Nevilles busted a gut each time they put on the black and white jumper. The blokes these days couldn't care less. What a disgrace.
