Damn shame it's at Bankwest against Parramatta and in a COVID year for - Benji and Lawrence. I wish I could convince myself that they will lift but not feeling confident.

I don’t think we’ve lifted for a player’s farewell or landmark game ever, so I don’t expect the team to change their ways now. I think we’ve definitely clocked off for the year, so even though Parra aren’t really playing all that well I think they will still beat us comfortably. Just hope it’s not too much of a slaughter.

It may be coincidence, but we seem to only win milestone games when it's a milestone for a Storm player we are playing against.

Lol true, but I’m pretty sure we actually stuffed up Cammy’s 300th by winning didn’t we?

I don't know if Benji has another pre-season in him. However, experienced players like him are more valuable now that there is no reserve grade. Not surprised John Morris would be interested in Benji

If he plays on next year and goes okay, it will only drag the WT media circus on even longer. In fact, he doesn't even need to go okay, just needs to have one standout game.

Benji had a real chance tonight to leave the game with people still connecting him to theTigers and his wonderfull contributions over a long period of time. If he walked he could earn the same money either at Fox or in a role at Tigertown, but either pride or ego will not allow him to do that and I think he is making a big mistake. Although the media will overlook his bad games and shower him in praise when he has a good game. Chris Lawrence showed us how to bow out with grace and dignity
