Won't matter how much he knocks, rings or taps, he won't be getting invited in.
 
Happy to see Benji back. Will certainly help with our depth. Probably didn't use up much of our cap space as well.
 
I was against the idea of signing Benji at first when someone started a thread about it recently, but just the other day I was watching the hour long highlights of him scoring tries on Fox and got very sentimental, remembering what a brilliant player he was, but also sad that he wasn't wearing our colours anymore. So for me the timing of this news couldn't be better!

I'm sure he will be a positive for the club in some way, either on the field as a player or off it as a mentor to the younger guys, but certainly in marketing and PR because no other name in Rugby League does it quite like Benji Marshall - welcome home mate 😊
 
Mmmm. Good for alot of reasons. Could be counter productive in some ways. Great for marketing, not sure about the leadership and mentoring people to be calm and thinking about repeat sets style footy. He always wants to score every play and we Don t need that.
 
I was happy when he left, but he seems to have grown as a person since there. It's obvious Cleary is not going to let kids run the team like JT did.

Benji had his kicking game issues in his younger days, but he improved and hopefully he'll be able to help Brooks along.

Nice to have someone of his calibre to step in to the halves if needed - hell of a lot better than littlejohn.
 
Good to have him home…should never had gone...we all know who should have been punted.....so where does that leave grub?
 
So so so happy, good to have him back home!

He'll bring a lot to this footy club!

Is it a 1 or 2 year deal?
