But as a member of the club I probably **am** entitled to know what's going on the at the club i.e. public record and freedom of infomation just like any corporation that has shareholders. i.e. If I enquire I should be able to get access to Annual Reports, minutes of club meetings, attend the AGM etc.

Or if I wanted to become and investor / sponsor I'd think that I would be able to get access to the clubs financial records etc to determine if was worth investing.

The only person who has 'NO RIGHTS' is you acting as a bully behind your moderator status on a supporters forum FFS - like that makes you high and mighty.

I cannot fathom how you think you should be entitled to know what's going on at the club behind closed doors. Wave the freedom of information act if you wish, but the club is entitled to confidentiality on many issues, including that of player contracts and particular financial information.

Either support the club or don't. The Wests Tigers certainly do not have to divulge information to any of us and that does not bother me one bit in the slightest. I support the team regardless of whatever media headlines grace the internet and hardcopy media.

Suppose you want to know the secret 11 herbs and spices in KFC are also . If you aren't happy with the club vote with your feet Don't become a member . The club owes us nothing bar good performances on the field and good amenities at the stadiums and good hospitality at the venues .

Yes if when the rumours had started the club had said "we're going to make some big changes, lose a number of players and sign some new ones" then we would have expected something, but all along they kept denying it saying players had been re=signed and were still under contract. Technically they were but in the back ground the club knew what it had planned but they twisted the truth rather than just saying there were big changes afoot.

That is not being transparent and for mine is dishonest and akin to lying.

Call it something else if it makes you feel better.

I will take anything that Humphreys says with a grain of salt.

Forced 3-6 months paid vacation mate when changing jobs so that you don't transfer your knowledge or strategies over to the new firm straight away. I work for a hedge fund. Its common in finance but probably not many other industries.

BP by all means have a shot at Humphreys and Sheens for our performances I do But the signings we have just got to roll with the punches If they get them wrong Humphreys and possibly Sheens is gone anyway so don't worry about it .

dude. I work in finance. We have guys lock away in a glass box so no one knows what the he'll they are doing, even from people inside the firm. We just had a GFC that was compounded because no one had any idea of what a bunch of guys we're doing with MBS's and CDS's.

Anything that is price sensitive and that could affect the bargaining power of the club should be left within the hands of those who are repsonsible for negotiating.

But by all means, wave your flags and demand transparency and I guarantee any player this club shows interest in will be snapped up by paper bags from underneath Politis' desk or will have brand new homes built on the same street as Prince, courtesy of Michael Searle of course.

The demands of some on here are completely unreasonable and laughable. Five years ago we wouldn't have been able to (financially or performance wise,) been able to attract the quality of players like Blair, Ellis or Tuqiri, and now people are whinging because the club is securing talent like Blair to lead from the front.
