I couldn't agree more Balmain Boy and great to see another multi sport enthusiast! Although they are not the same sport, sometimes different codes can learn from each other. And Cultured Bogan, I suggested earlier in the thread that we change the extra time to Golden Try rather than Golden Point.

That's the only way it can be done to keep the integrity of the points table

but like someone said earlier there's nothing wrong with scrapping GP and splitting the points for a draw and going back to the 10 mins each way extra time for finals instead of a back and forth scrap for a field goal
