Don't know about the best just yet, but if he takes this last WBO belt off Haney he will become the most successful having unified the division, undisputed champion of the world 🔥

Garside clearly in front with a round left but gee his game the champion. You’d probably think Garside far enough in front he just needs to get through the last.

He was game. For a moment around round 7 it looked like Garside was tiring and Matet might finish stronger. He was throwing them in the last but Garside was good enough to make him miss.

He said he is taking it serious but also said he's going to use the platform to promote upcomers and give the youth a stage to progress.

Those two statements don't really mesh together in my opinion.

Sonny can continue the freak show, celeb match ups and make good money without fighting some one that could cause him serious harm. No threat in fighting aged former athletes and other C grade celebrities. Good money on the table too.

With Gal though, he seems tied up with No Limit promotions and probably has some deal with them and all their shows are on Foxtel/ Main Event / Kayo - the umbrella company. SBW is exclusive with Stan/Nine/NBN which are also one company I believe. A cross promotional fight between the two companies would be quite difficult to arrange and for everyone to get paid, may not work out financially.

Just my thoughts though, I just think... it's not something we'll ever see.

I'd love it though.
I think Sonny would batter Gal.
 
I'll be waiting for proper fighters to go hard at it,
Kambosos v Haney. That fight will slowly gain momentum with media hype.
If Haney loses then our credibility will go up here in oz, especially with Tim going well too.
