Reading an article today about Jodie Gordon and Minis wife terry biviano having a falling out due to Anasta making fun of people and making snide remarks for what they were wearing to Minis wedding.
Since when was Anasta a fashion critic? The bloke cant keep his ugly trap shut.

Braith probably thinks Braith is the better fullback
Probably thinks he could kick Jason Day's backside all over the golf course as well
Like everything else in Braith's life he didn't live up to expectations
Football ,marriage , golf …..........

Tedesco was fine on the wing for us. Awesome at centre for Italy and best on ground for City on the wing.
Regardless of the reason why he is asked to play these position for the Raiders, he does so **exceptionally well**. I am not having a go at Tedesco, I think he is a fine fullback and a specialist one at that and plays fullback **very well**. Let's not get into his performances on the wing.
And I maintain Wighton is a better fullback. No better test of a fullback's temperament than under the high ball on a very windy day and I recall our team putting Wighton to the test at Leichhardt Oval. He didn't falter. Tedesco had a forgettable day under the same conditions.
One thing that has been forgotten also is that Tedesco through St Gregs, Aust Schools etc has always had great coaching. Wighton and also Roberts from Orange and Kempsey respectively have not been exposed to the same level of coaching in their junior years so their may be greater improvement in senior football. Time will tell.

It does hurt.
My personal distaste for Anasta aside, he's 100% right. We're a basket case, have been for years. Players consistently underperform, the clubs recruiting is substandard and the front office is still in various stages of disrepair.
Yeah, laying the boot into a former employer might be poor form but to be honest, Anasta certainly isn't above that especially in that he was/is owed money by the club. The club needs to hear this. The Rugby League public needs to hear this. The more ex-players that have been slighted by the club come out and say the place is a two-bob operation the more the front office might actually get their arse into gear and fix the mess. The only alternative will be for the NRL to say "we'll take that licence back fellas, off to Perth you go."
With the Independent directors coming in, people who are not affiliated with either board, they seem to have identified the areas of concern and are starting to do what they can to remedy it. For mine, Sydney is a very different sporting landscape to Melbourne, or even Brisbane. We're a fickle lot, and we love a winner. That is the primary problem. There's a small fraction of the fan base who decide on lesser issues like the amount of home grounds, price of food and drink, the fact that we're not Balmain or the Magpies anymore etc, but largely we want to see results and consistent competition for the big prize.
The current salary cap "issues" that revolve around us are years of systematic mismanagement stretching all the way back to Steve Noyce and then compounded by Humphreys and Mayer. This is paramount. IMO, everything hinges on fixing the cap. We fix the cap, we can compete on the market for better players, which then in turn gives us better results on the pitch. When you're routinely competitive you are attractive to new supporters and third parties.
The club needs to cop the punches at the minute. If they are serious about fixing the issues they need to roll on against the fan and public backlash, not cave into the media circus about performances on the field, Farah & Taylor etc. Running a Rugby League club is uniquely complex compared to other businesses as the primary product is not tangible, and involves a heavy amount of emotional investment, as well as financial, from the customer.
I'm jack of the continual circus that surrounds this club. I'll never walk away from the club, but it certainly chips away at the interest when ex-players, fans, media and supporters of other clubs can see the problems and the management seem to be the only ones with the blinkers on.

Good rant. It is indeed complex.
