Been travelling overease and just catching up on the news.
So it seems he is off to Union for 5 years ? if I read Taubers statement correct, if this is the case then I think that is good for Benji as I think Union will suit him and probably give him some longevity in the game.
To be honest I have mixed feelings about this, some part of me is quite sad and the other part sees opportunity for others to step up.I will always have fond memories of the great things Benji has done and also sit back and reflect on some of the JC moments when you just want to pull your hair out - maybe that is why I don't have too much left
Benji will be missed not only by the Tigers but also League followers in general, you either love him or you love to hate him and I don't think too many people hate him to be honest.
Looking back this year alone which has been pretty poor and I am sure Benjo will agree, but there have been some clever things done, like the tap and run against Parra where her ran 75 metres, I don't think too many other players would be switched on to think to do that. Then there was the kick a few weeks back against Cronulla - a hair pulling exercise for me.
I really hope that Benji does well in the next chapter in his life, I wish him all the best and I hope that people get out and give him the farewell he deserves.
