He has played 78 NRL games, he has had his chance, he is a dud
I wouldn't let the loser walk my dog ..he'd stuff that up somehow.
Enough is enough !

@ said:@ said:Brooks has had his chance imo .his kicking game isn't up to first grade standard ,,, that was the difference today , like most weeks :deadhorse:
Thanks, I needed something boring to put me to sleep tonight

@ said:I get this strange feeling that he will pop out of this slump and figure it all out. I cannot put my finger on why, but I get a vibe that it will click some time soon.
@ said:@ said:It looks to me like he's trying to play to a structure and not what he sees infront of him. So many times today the bomb wasn't on due to rushing defence, but instead of taking another option like grubbing or running it he seems insistent on putting up a bomb he knows is going to be rushed and off the mark.
He needs to start playing what's in front of him again.
He is a number 7 , he should know that . But he just doesn't have it
@ said:His defence has come a long way, unfortunately his attack appears to have gone backwards..
Lolohea is playing with more confidence in attack than Brooks
@ said:Brooks is not the problem it's the team around him.
Our forward pack doesn't bend the line and get teams on the back foot. His go to men on the edge are Kev, Lawrence, ET, Lovett, Marsters. His hooker Mcilwrick draws no defenders either runs or shovels and his 5/8 is new to the team. He has not lived up to expectations but you have to judge him when Liddle, Packerlino, McQueen, Suli, Milne and Reynolds are in the team.

That isn't fair to the players around Brooks. Brooks needs to do his job well. As for the players you've mentioned they were all pretty good out there today.
@ said:@ said:Very average 1st half, all the usual stuff, poor 5th tackle options, some shocking passes, than I thought he had a strong second half. Very hard to shine as no7 when every set your 90m from the try line. Badger was poor as always and certainly gifted the Pennys plenty of yards and possession
What a load of garbage. Badger was pro Tigers today. Our shocking hands and poor defence, as always, lost that game.

How many times over the years has a boom kid hit the NRL…...not to be heard of again, history has a funny way of repeating itself....hope for Brooks he has a stellar year next year, otherwise he will be on top of the had potential pile but didn't handle it..
@ said:Then look at MM 11 missed tackles.
