Brooks vs Moses

While Brooksy may be a bit of wallflower, for me, if it was a semifinal and you were down by 4, he us far more likely to take the line on and create something than Moses. Moses looks a bit like a flat track bully who struggles when things get a bit difficult. That’s when you see the difference between confidence and ability.

I don’t like the guy , but atleast he gets his teams playing semis. He is a much better player then Brooks. Yes he’s fizzled off towards the end of the year but when he is on fire he is twice the player brooks is. I think many on here are clouded by what he did to us.

I like how every tv news in the sports section they replay Moses’s missed kick. Hope it haunts him for a very long time.

I still love the kick attempt from the first round against us where Moses went down on his a#se and of course missed. That and when Packer took out Matto was a loss I could accept 🤪

Moses is probably the more skilful player of the pair, but at least Brooks doesn't go missing when the pressure is on like Moses does.

Brooks was loyal to stay and Moses got what he deserved last night bundled out in straight sets.

Neither player has lived up to expectations from both clubs and expectations on themselves, only player to do this is Tedesco.

Moses looks good when his forwards are dominating and getting quick play the ball, but he falls apart under any pressure. He also has Gutherson in support if he makes a break.

Dylan Brown was good this year and should gain experience from his finals appearances, that pass to Jackson Paulo was a shocker.

Tigers forwards dominating is very rare and when we have had quick play the balls in the past we mostly run from dummy half or give it to Benji.

I would choose Brooks over Moses as a 7.

MM's Ben Hunt moment .....

Their different skill sets balance each other out

You can't ever accuse Brooks of giving up though ...no matter whether he does or doesn't take the right option

What stuck out for me is how Moses gave up on the play when he thought he was taken out and went after the ref instead of Cook. All about himself. And how bad is Gutherson. He had a great 15 minutes that changed the momentum, but I think I’d still hate him even if he played for us. That post try “celebration”, someone in the live game thread said he looked like an old man in a nightclub creeping on young girls.

Interesting that Moses thinks its all about him.

People are still angry at Moses I think. I’d say they’re about even but at the same time Moses in 2019 played better than Brooks ever has I think.

Both have their positives and negatives and as a person brooks definitely is the better bloke but neither are the main playmaker to win you a premiership that’s for sure

A lot in that side do. Moses, Gutherson, Ferguson, Mahoney. All love playing to the crowd when they score. With Ferguson, he did a backflip in round one when he thought he had scored the first try of the season. Wasn’t even to win the game. Then, he doesn’t score a try for the majority of the year, and it became a bigger talking point than them winning and losing. And when he finally did get over the line, he acted like he’d just scored the match winner in the grand final.

Originally I was sure we kept the wrong guy, but no, MM has is still a downhill runner. Great when he is 'on' but so are plenty of players, he certainly finds it hard when the going gets tough.

Kicking- Moses (by a fair bit)
Confidence-Moses
Ball running -Brooks
Defence- Brooks ( completely different level to Moses)
Spine- Moses is spineless
Both got their flaws but I’d take brooks any day

Yeah, we're really better off with Brooks watching our team run around in the finals.

Swap them and Brooks would be playing finals for Parra aswell.

Gutho shirks all of the work that Moses goes missing in

My opinion ....both Brooks and Moses running game was their greatest strength and in 2020 it should have been what made them as players

They have both fallen off a cliff as running players
