If you’re gonna use analogies like that, what about us in 05. At the time it felt like the beginning of a dynasty. We weren’t even consistent for the whole season. The first half was not on par with every other season. We just happened to catch absolute fire on the run home and no one could touch us.

Same as Brisbane last season. Interestingly, neither our 2005 or Brisbane’s 2025 teams could back up to even just make the finals again.

I’ve never seen a club peak at such a perfect time like the Broncos. The only other team I could compare them to is us in 05. Couldn’t have been done any more perfect.

Hate to say it as it gives me nightmares as a 8 year old but the 89 raiders peaked perfect too
