Can we sell Marshall Please?

First of all if the club extends Benji's contract especially for the money he is chasing…..then I'm done with this club. Being loyal and a supporter is one thing but being a total idiot is not the way I want to spend my winter months.

A few things to come out of Marshals performance last night.

1\. He missed 9 tackles out of the teams 36 ( 25% of all missed tackles were Marshals )
2\. His missed tackle on Gillet led to Gillet scoring a try.
3\. His stupid hero play before halftime ( chip kick on the half way ) led to Bronco's scoring from that set of six.
4\. His missed tackle on Prince led to Prince scoring a try.

The bronco's scored 6 tries last night. Marshal was directly to blame for 3\. Marshal set up no tries, his kicking was absolutely hopeless.....now tell me, how much is a player of that standard worth in the NRL.? If this was a one off performance you could say I was being harsh but unfortunately the last season and a half this type of performance is now more "THE NORM" and this year he is getting worse as the season continues

Potter is in a tough situation, if he sacks benji the media will crucify him like they did a few weeks ago....especially his footy show mates, but we can all see that Marshal as a geniune force in RL is finished.

A pity but true.

It will probably happen sooner rather than later. Potter is obviously not up for his shenanigans so any offer from another club or code would be welcoming for both parties.

Failing that, he can join Sheens in the cleaners closet for the remainder of his contract.

Tell him he's going to be the highest paid State Cup player in history for the rest of his time here.
Im sure Benji would then ensure his time as a tiger is over and leave .

Can't really add anything that hasn't already been said. Last night truly showed Benji simply doesn't give a stuff out on the field anymore. State Cup is where he should be and I'd be asking the hard question does he want to be here next year, if so, start running the damn ball and do what he's paid to do, or otherwise keep him in state cup and hopefully someone else signs him up, or he asks for a release.

You must just hate the way he plays it goes against everything you coach.

hey mr potter u pulled pettybourne of for some terrible defence, well let be tell u the BENJI missed more tackles than any other 5 players last night , he is a disgrace and should be dropped. I could live with his bad defence if he was running the ball and setting up points for the team , but he just a blugger.

I agree. I think we need to ask Benji where he sees his future. If he's not serious about hanging around then tell him to bugger off. I can't cop a guy not giving his all and right now Benji's not playing to acceptable level.
