The Warriors fans consider him their No 1 prop but he hasnt played much and is currently out.

Not many on that forum want him re-signed.

Talk on the Warriors roster is that Matulino is looking for $750k not too much less than Woods.

My God.
Matulino MAY be worth $750k…....over 3 seasons. He's basically a reserve grader I thought.
Woods for James Graham is a fair swap, would be happy with that.

Woods for Graham is a terrible swap.

Woods for Graham is a terrible swap.

Great Britain skipper, plays with 100% heart, soul, passion and aggression every single week. Leader of men.
Yep, terrible swap :unamused:

Yes terrible swap he gives too many penalties away and well known at the judiciary for foul play.Unfortunately rightly or wrongly we seem to give away far more penalties than we receive we dont need another player making it worse.

Didn't bouncing Benny virtually cripple the Balmain side of the JV by himself through that failed leagues club development, when in hindsight old Harry T should of been sought out for some expert advice from a developers perspective.

Absolutely Chevy - one of the biggest developers in the southern hemisphere and Elias didn't even invite him to tender.

He could not afford to criticise anyone or anything in the WT - he has thrown Balmain out the back door and now he is trying his hardest to work on WT. The guy is a palooka!!!

There is an interview with Harry and he was upset that he did not get asked to rebuild the club and the new apartments and in the interview he says that it would have been built and the interviewer ask how…. Harry starts talking about knowing how to deal with problems and he's had them before But between the lines it sounds like he would have bribed the right persons
\
\
But with Benny the word was that he was going to get it done on the cheap and it backfired

He got it done alright.

Balmain basically broke - but he escaped I believe without losing any dough, maybe he even made a profit. Bad luck he is not in jail.

I read the thread title of Canterbury making an offer on someone and Im reading how Backdoor Benny sent Balmain broke.

Off topic or what?

Woods won't be missed I am hearing Matulino, Packer will be the replacements if he goes. The Tigers are also after Bodene Thompson, Shaun Johnson.

And if Woods departs for Canterbury, Tigers will most likely look to secure Graham.

He is broken down and back ended like Farah wouldn't touch him

Broken down ..hahahahaha

We like our players broken and 2nd hand, they come cheap mate

We have a track record of signing players either injury prone OR in rehab

Ballin was the most recent player

I agree that swap isn't what we want at all. They are similar players but Woods is a lot younger. I'm fine with Woods going and the tigers using that money well.

He ran for a couple of hundred metres last weekend, not too shabby an effort that.

And for that i should be careful with words i use
After-all no player chooses to be injured

Wonder what part Harry T has played in these negotiations?

He needs to throw Teddy a penthouse in exchange for his signature.

What has "Harry" ever done for the team?

Absolutely nothing Col! He's purely a figurehead and a bad one at that. We wouldn't have had to be scraping the bottom of the barrel in the player market for all these years if this fat cat really cared about the club.

What's the hold up? They've got their offers on the table, I doubt the money is a problem so, why haven't they made a decision yet? The position the clubs are in isn't going to change.

Straight from Woods on NRL 360, his manager hasn't even sat down with him, he doesn't want to make an emotional decision because the team is not performing & expects he will make a decision over the next few weeks.

He even made fun of the Warriors, Bulldogs and Roosters apperantly signing him.

Don't think he will stay but found it interesting hearing what Woods thinks over what the media are reporting.

I also find it amusing that foxsports have run an article on Graham but nothing saying Woods isn't decided yet - media only one sided slaming our club atm.

Ok, so he's thinking about leaving because the team is playing crap, but doesn't want to let those emotions affect his decision.

If we start winning he'll change his mind? Is that the type of mentality we really want, when the going gets tough, you leave?

Of course the longer these two drag it out, the harder it will become for us to spend some of our war chest on quality replacements. I have no problem with them walking, they have both given great service, but I think they owe the club a prompt answer.

I sometimes think these guys get off in having their names in headlines every day. Its going to be very boring when the media jumps on their bandwagon when they play well

100% agree - Make a decision and move on.
It made me pissed listening to Woods talking about how it is distracting etc… When the ball is in his court and if HE makes a decision all the media speculation goes away..

I have finally had enough of this and if they cared about the club they would make a decision as every day it doesn't happen the media write another bad article about our club..

I really think we hit GOLD with the new coach and see us getting some quality players once a decision is made..

They should give them deadline of Friday or we start offering outside players contracts..FINAL
