Chammas Article

Well you should be worried about it because it impacts on everything that this club tries to do and can't ever get it right.
It is the very reason why we are a transition lounge because no one buys what we are selling - cause the talk and the actions are never the same

So if they keep Benji … what do you think the media will say about that ?

They will be criticised if they keep him ..criticised if they sack him… there isn’t a third option …

Nope ,.. not losing any sleep over that..

Last week it was Tom Turbo unhappy with Siebold and his job was on the line - they had a win and the next target is Benji.
The media feed off people who buy their BS that is what keeps them in jobs. It doesn't matter if it's got an ounce of truth to it or who is victim to it.
This club is not experiencing poor form on the back of an individual coach the rot is ingrained. If we don't back what we have been selling why would anyone else believe that this club knows what it is doing ?

Can take a lot of that with a grain of salt however, being an inexperienced coach, he may feel the pressure of these big personalities and hardened first graders.

Actually it would hard not to, in his position.

We have to back him though, we don’t have a choice.

Benji’s a backstabbing dope, the clubs in chaos, blah blah blah,
There’s another 10 or so clubs in a similar situation, so getting things right and using common sense logic is easier said than done.

What many say about Marshall is that he still harbours a desire to be “one of the boys”.
Maybe that was evident a couple of weeks ago when things got heated between Marshall and centre Adam Doueihi at training in the lead-up to the round 16 match against Canberra.

This is nothing new and has caused problems all the way to the lower grades. You are in the Benji circle or you are not, he is not flexible in his approach before or during games, and he will not take good advice from any person unless they are in his circle. Please note also this was Also one of Galvin's gripes. Bateman and Klemmer called him out of a few that while he wanted them gone because they would not toe his line.

This club was supposed to the heading in a new direction but that know seems to have slowed to a crawl.
how funny that every single name mentioned there all have the same manager.

What’s missing from the discussion is there is a strong likelihood Latu Fainu is a better long term 7 than Galvin. Haywood is a better prospect long term than TDS. Api is the better player for the next two seasons.

Sign Galvin Latu leaves his manager actually went on record stating this. The flip side is you can’t pay Api and TDS it’s mismanagement.

I actually agree with the decisions. Maybe I’m wrong but it makes complete sense. Releasing TDS early is the only question mark for mine but if it saves cap space our season is done for anyway.

Good post. From everything I have seen, Latu has a higher ceiling than Galvin. Latu plays like an experienced NRL player (direct, defends well and is a run threat). I think Galvin struggles in these areas and still plays like he did in the juniors.
TDS is not as clear cut but needs to develop his game both defensively and as a dummy half but may get to the level required. Haywood looks to be a different type of player to TDS and they may be after that skillset longer term. Agree that we probably should have held TDS until the end of the year.

It’s pretty easy to stomach losing kids when you have origin and premiership winners ahead of them. Storm in a teacup.
