For sixty minutes a game definitely yes, but obviously TDS wasn’t prepared to see out his apprenticeship by being part of that.Or Benji preffered Api?
If he did'nt want him gone he would still be here.Or Benji preffered Api?
I am not convinced the HBG use their power to over rule the football department aka Richo near as often as what many people seem to believe. Why do you not want them to sell?
Do you think the people who own this club are capable of making it a successful one?

You know today’s young person mentality, I want it, and I want it now !
what you just said , was about the same respect i saw pascoe give Harry, when he busted into his office, ignoring him ,laughing at the old money.Apparently his heir is a mad Tigers fan too. Hopefully he is a bit of a goose with dads money.
Maybe not as dementia is more prevalent now. With all the angst & disappointment every fan in here harbors, I suspect the day we do win another GF there will be tears shed by grown men.
I’m predicting within 3 years The Chad. With all the angst & disappointment every fan in here harbors, I suspect the day we do win another GF there will be tears shed by grown men.
Still making highrises.be nice if he had his wits about him
Yes and no, PD( interesting handle).Doesn't seem to be the case for young guys at many other clubs.
I think it is more of an us thing than a "those dang kids" thing Hal.
I am not implying they do. But it is an interesting argument to delegate blame lower than where the buck ultimately stops when we have rotated through 6 coaches and 4 CEOs since we last made the finals.I am not convinced the HBG use their power to over rule the football department aka Richo near as often as what many people seem to believe.
It’s convenient to blame others other than those making the decisions when things go wrong.
You are right merlot I don't have any respect for Harry Triguboff. I don't know him and I don't issue respect to people I don't know.what you just said , was about the same respect i saw pascoe give Harry, when he busted into his office, ignoring him ,laughing at the old money.

But they don't have to in order for them to wear blame.
If I worked for a company and discovered the owner was a dribbling idiot that consistently makes dumb decisions and verifiably has no idea how to operate the company properly my morale would be effected. I would expect many others would too. Performance is affected by many things but not having alignment with your ultimate owner is one of the biggest.
Compare how Wests Tigers football staff, coaches and players would view "The Holman Barnes Group" compared to how other clubs football departments view their owners. How does Politis treat his players, or even Crowe? How do you think the Broncos are treated by the owners of the team?
Not only are hey demonstrably incapable of operating it well, they appear to have no real interest in it either. The HBG are more interested in meat raffles and upgrading the seating at the bistro than the success of the NRL franchise they own. Google Holman Barnes Group annual report and read it for yourself.
Think about what the independent review into the HBG actually determined. They advised the HBG to appoint an independent board to operate the Wests Tigers. They essentially said "you are the problem".
The HBG then installed a chair that already had history here and of the 3 tie breaking independent members the recruitment firm was supposed to have appointed one was the CEO of a club sponsor.
You're a much more learned person than I am with you being a schoolteacher and me having been just a poorly paid [for the responsibility we have] bus driver.I think, as solely a Wests Tigers supporter, with no affiliation to either merger club, that all the infighting and moaning that still goes on, in our 26th season as Wests Tigers, is the reason we are the bread and butter clickbait. Nothing easier to attack than an acrimonious union.

I see it differently, I don’t think most of our players have any interest in who owns the club and probably don’t even know who our board members are.
All they care about is collecting their monthly pay cheques and know they answer to Benji and Richo.
Richo has the power to sack Benji or any of our coaching staff and has the power to try and retain or recruit any players he wants.
I realise Richo has plenty of knowledge and experience in running NRL clubs so we have to trust he has us heading in the right direction, but he was happy to take the big money, chose to do 3 roles and therefore the buck stops with him.
What the actual!Again, the question is why. Sources at the Tigers, talking on the condition of anonymity, say Richardson had wanted to prioritise keeping future star Da Silva at the club. Benji Marshall, however, favoured Koroisau, and Richardson let his coach have his way.
A similar thing happened in the off-season, when Richardson’s preference was to bring in Paul McGregor in as an assistant coach.
Marshall, however, wanted 2005 premiership-winning teammate Brett Hodgson to partner fellow ex-teammates John Morris and Chris Heighington on the coaching staff following the departure of another former teammate, Robbie Farah.
The coach won that battle, too.
Yes that is correct.BHG needs to stand up and put their hand in their pocket
They only have 2 seats on the board now, and I just read the other day , that’s the wests rep is n ex player who wasn’t apart of the bullshit shenanigans that went on last year re. Julie and her coup , only to get stabbed by Denny boy and his coup on the coup . He’s still on the board though … unfortunately.I am not implying they do.
