CHEAP FORWARDS!!!!!

Just look at the manly side that played today and what they picked up cheat in the of season,

1 horo big s/rower and i know he came cheap, had a beer with his dad.
2 symonds from the roosters, another strong running s/rower
3 prop from the gold coast, cant remember his name , but he played really well.
4 and the bloke we let go who went to the dragons and then to manly

all the above are on cheap contracts, where is are recruitment people or do we not have one

I may be wrong but I think that it is not the recruitment people but the money we don't have (even if these players are going cheap). The club however doesn't seem to want to make this public.

We did sign Gavet, Thompson, Pettybourne and Buchanan who will all prove to be the goods here I've no doubt. I'd say we were also expecting Mosese to push into first grade. Gavet, Buchanan and Thompson would not be on much. I'd say we signed particularly well in the off season for forwards.

When he returns to the field Boden Thompson may be a surprise packet as a forward or back.

Our recruiters should be looking at guys that are good but beacuse of the log jam ahead of them, are playing reserve grade each week. Look at Buchanen, he left the dragons as he had alot of players ahead of him, come to the tigers and he get his chance. He has done well too. Some second tier guys. Say, hey, you come over to the tigers you could be in the runon side, or bench. Or you could stay here the next -4 years and hope you get a crack, upto you?? We could get a couple of mid season transfers, but we need to be out there asking these guys, giving them another option. They would be cheaper than established 1st graders too. What do you think??

Still cant believe we let Junior Moors go! There is another Dragons player I think would be a great buy, Jack Stockwell is the bloke, maybe Buchanan can convince him to come over!

Horo is an average player at best. It is the money we dont have, we did reasonably well in the off season with Ed Pet, Bodene and Buchanan. Personally they all top the players you listed.

Tele reports we are already in talks with Shane Shackleton. And havnt ruled out Cashmere. I would rather Shackleton. The guy Buchanan could drag with him is Jack De Belin. He is out of favour with Steve Price and is good mates with Buchanan.
