Well done Chris on a great career and to know when the time is right to leave the game and not to play on and damage your reputation.

Class act. A credit to every jersey he ever pulled on. Overcame setbacks that would have felled a lesser man. Hope his retirement is a long, happy and successful one.

Ain't that the truth!

It’s sad what injuries have done to his career.
Always gave his all for the WT, fellow players and fans.
He has worked hard to set his post NRL playing times and I wish him plain sailing for all his future endeavours.
All the best mate and big thanks for sticking with the club and the fans.

Well done Rowdy on the career, especially after that hip injury.

Shame the number of talented players that have had their careers stalled or stopped completely through injury, he's done amazingly well under the circumstances.

This guy is an absolute champion....nobody can question his passion for our club or his contributions to it. Life membership more than well deserved

but retirements are like funerals.....when you're around people stick the boot in....when you're not you walk on water.... are people going to complain now if he makes the run on team/bench etc?ahhhh the fickleness of sports fans

Absolute legend. Great clubman and one of the few loyal players in the game. To think what he could have become had he not had those horrific injuries. Great to know he has set himself up post nrl career aswell. Thankyou Rowdy for your service to this club and its fans nobody can dispute your heart and passion for the Wests Tigers

15 year career in the Mighty Wests Tigers Jersey ..fought back from horrific injuries time and time again ..gave everything he had on the field for us..

Club Legend.

Thank you for all the wonderful Memories..wishing you every success in you post football career..

A true Wests Tigers legend. Thanks for everything Chris and here’s to a happy long life after footy and wishing you every success in your future endeavours.

A true epitome of resilience. Congratulations on a career which sadly was never fully realised due to injury.

We will never know what great heights your football career may have reached if you hadn't sustained those terrible injuries.
Showed true guts and commitment to come back from injuries that would have stopped most.
Best of luck for the future to you and your family you are a true local hero.

If we had more players with the ticker and brains of this bloke we'd never miss the 8. In his prime he was class, injuries never stopped him he just got on with it, a true inspiration and who every jnr rugby league player should look up to and mimic

Has always given 100% for this club and ALWAYS put the club first.

Even after so many horrific injuries he hasn't let us down this year either.

Well done Chris
