Let's all get real here.
The Coach ain't going anywhere, because you cant simply change the Coach every time we get lapped. Our record with Coaches is the worst in the League and in any case who would want to Coach here? Only failed Coaches from other Clubs or Flanagan who in my opinion shouldn't be allowed to Coach again.
If you want to sack somebody ,look at the people who appointed him and that would be the Board, who, by the way, you cant get rid of.
So that leaves the players. I will start alphabetically: Brooks;
I will leave the rest to you guys...........

The coach is gone. The players won't play for him. Attempting to keep him in the job is just ridiculous after that loss.

Madge is safe as houses I reckon

Yea, thinking he survives too

Madge is delusional...presser was basically "Melb showed us the standard we want...momentum in the modern game...we know what we want to be....need to find our shoulders on D"....

Madge needs to walk on Monday morning. That's the beginning. I don't know how this ends but this is how it starts

It wouldn’t be the beginning at all. it would the same cycle we have been going through for a decade and that cycle needs to be broken.

Do not kid yourself ..once the finger starts being pointed elsewhere he will be gone in a flash and the questioning has started by the Fox team tonight .

The playere and the coaching staff will need to resolve this.
Its unacceptable …… our roster isn’t that bad …. But the players attitude is the issue.
Coaching not far behind.
I don’t see us getting out of this anytime soon.
This year has been a real disappointment. There are just no positives you can point to.
I’m afraid situation may need new approach and new direction and it may be down for Sheens to take hands on approach.
.

I think Madge is a flog myself but he ain’t going nowhere..
The players don’t give a shit ..
They still get paid..
They’ll still be banging away on Xbox and Insta and catching up for coffees and shit on there days off and having a laugh thinking there gods ..
It’s all attitude !

Well Mr Nostradamus, please tell me who our new Coach will be. Obviously you know as you don't talk crap.

That's an overwhelming argument not to change a coach.

Go and look at the score again. There is no coming back from that thrashing.

Maguire should fall on his sword.

So on one hand you say we can’t get rid of the coach and then the first name you mention was Brooks who isn’t the reason we leaked 100pts+ in 2 games.

Why are people talking about our backs and edge defense? Really? The problem all year has been the defensive work of our forwards. From the first or second tackle when Garner got smashed attempting to tackle Solomona there were major danger signs. They made about 40 metres on the first three tackles in their first 6 sets. Garner did a little better in the second set, actually holding on in the tackle, but he still fell on his back and conceded a quick play the ball.

The speed of the play the ball was out of control: markers couldn't even get square in time, Storm players were running ten metres before contact with Tigers on the back foot and halves had all the time they liked to distribute. It's the inablity of our forwards to create dominant tackles and slow the opposing team down that is our biggest issue.

We need more men in the tackle, need better ability to hold them up, need to wrap the ball up better and need to put opponents on their back.

I can't see Tamou, Twal, Joe O, Garner being anything but support players in a good pack. None are bad players (Tamou is probably the most passive of them) but none are dominant tacklers. We haven't had that since Gareth Ellis.

We had the exact same problem against the cowboys, the Titans at campbo, Parra last week. We aren't competitive.

Who cares who our backline is? Honestly it's absolutely irrelevant until we can compete physically in the forwards.

Maybe they should send injured or dropped players to fans houses to watch the game and they can see first hand what WE go though every week... Water off a ducks back to the players but not sure about anyone else but I carry it with me for a few days (after tonight could be 2 weeks) and I am over it.

The game is won and lost in the collision atm, we just don't compete in that area of the game.

I’m not bothered about tonight result as it was always on the cards

The losses at home to the cows and Titans were worse than tonight’s result

we were alway losing this game but was hoping we at least made it hard for them and tried to keep it under 50.. But agree Cows and Titans games were tough as well as Farah's last game v Sharks when all we had to do was win to be in the finals ...
Its like groundhog day for us fans

I dont understand how sacking Madge will do anything? He is a proven winner with the right cattle. How many of our current squad would make the starting team in any of the top 8 sides? Hardly any if any. Here in lies the problem.

For years WT have only ever attracted has-beens and the odd plodder. Unfortunately we are not yet to see any youth come through that are quality 1st grade material. I really believe WT are doomed, and as an entity, cannot dig themselves out of the hole the club is in. Relocation offers the only hope as I do not think we will survive too much longer whilst praying and witing for the next crop of superstar juniors come through.

Would Flanagan/Morris & Co turn the career of James Roberts around? Could they make Garner a superstar? Could they get the best out of Moses & Brooks? I can't see it unfortunately. The problem is 100% the players. This I'm certain of.

We have very little speed, players that cannot read defence and we are rudderless in attack. No coach in the NRL (including Bellamy) could fix what we disg out on the field week in week out.
