It also says to me the other players are over him and happy to see him leave... Clearly not a team fav now.. As a team mate you would not post that unless he is on the outer.. I just hope this is over soon and we come out winners..
I don’t get it?
The joke is that Matterson clearly didn't attend a day of beers and bowls with his team mates. To highlight the situation McQueen has poorly photoshopped Matterson into the picture.
I bet he wasn't the only one .....Benji was overseas
**And as for McQueen ....can I point out a fact .....Matterson was getting only 25 k more a season than McQueen if the reported figures are correct**
**I know which money was far better spent .....and then I guess you might see Matterson's frustration**
The only person Matto should be frustrated with is his manager. Unless the manager lied and told him something else. Either way, he signed the deal.
Maybe if the club was being proactive ( as they have done in the past with other players ) they could of sat him down mid season and upgraded him for 2021 for example
I know everyone wants to hunt him down , but if your being honest we were paying Great Wall Prices for a Hi Lux performances
This is rubbish Happy. If this is what the game has come to, then caveats on earnings should be written into the contract in the first place. Once again, if not, then the fault lies with the player managers and players themselves. You can't expect anyone, or any club to have a written agreement, then up it because the player is playing well (as the player and club would both want) through good coaching. A simple line in the sand would be if said player isn't happy, and the club agrees, then they can leave under terms of existing contract to another club with a year of no first grade and a transfer fee to the club. Maybe 20-30% All of which has been said before.
Well if you think we are going to replace Matterson with Matterson on the 375 k ( or even the 450 k ) you are dreaming
his performances (in my opinion ) were of a 600 k a season player , you think we will a 600 k player in return for Matterson people are kidding themselves
