Someone with ties to the club told me today don’t expect a deal on Matterson. The Tigers want a swap deal and offers are underwhelming. Paying him or fining him if he doesn’t turn up won’t impact anything. I have no idea if it’s correct but if so we have finally grown a set.

All these issues were apparently there half of last season, but the bloke never shirked a hit up and carried the pack.

To be honest, I do not care if some players have fallen out or Madge had a row with him. If he is there in 2020 and gives up 150 / 30 again, I'll take it and he should be first picked.

Michael Jordan / Scottie Pippen disliked Dennis Rodman and barely spoke in three years.............they won 3 titles together.

Tension and a bit of angst may do us good. I am kind of tired of everyone smiling on Nofa's social media account whilst we miss the finals year after year...

Well, Eisenhuth...ET...Packer...Clarke........................it is then over to you.

Either you fire up and run just as hard and make as many dirty carries as Matterson does.

Or you walk off the field with your 30 yards / 8 tackles / 4 hit ups and, well, prove he is right.

I think it would do us good to have a bit of aggro / tension in the pack.

Modern business. No ethics, no values just self centred bottom line. But clubs are the same. Wonder what Mick Cronin thinks? His contract was a handshake - nothing more.

It’s designed to make staying untenable it makes a move more likely and also devalues the player in any swap deal leaving the team you are going to with more assets. Reputation in this day and age is meaningless with the younger generation. It’s about cash.

I used to get like that, but realized during the big 4 crap, there's more to life. I don't think anything that happens to this club anymore can get me bubbling with rage. From Farah, to the big 4, to Cleary, Matterson etc, idk how one has the energy to maintain peaked emotions. That takes effort and I'm old. I just roll with the punches.

Well it’s either him or his management guys that are really doing him a disservice in how this has been handled.
It’s becoming obvious that the potential move is not gaining much traction ..... may be best for them all to pull their heads in accept an upgrade and work their way back into the team.
If it works out that way then with good on field attitude and performance will improve relations with players and the coach in no time.
