Yoss gets some good whispers occasionally and today wrote that he has penned elsewhere (the knights).

Cheers Mate, don't really see him as a make or break signing anyway.
 
Some of the comments posted today about this kid are just pathetic.
Connor Watson has untold ability.
And to my knowledge the Roosters haven't even released him yet.
All the vitriol written about Watson on this forum is based on assumptions, there never has been anything verified by the Tigers.
So why turn on him?
The " Insiders" gushing to let mere mortals like me in on the latest rumour.
The same lot who stood up and applauded Luke Brooks when he resigned, and then put the boot in first couple of games after coming back from injury.

Umm what particular vitriol are you talking about? All I've seen are some lame jokes and some comments about being not too fussed given we have 1, 6, 7 and 9 signed for next year and they'd rather see money spent on the forwards. That's hardly bagging the guy…

Being in the USA and Mexico for the last couple of weeks I can't believe CNN is just 24/7 anti Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon.
I don't like the guy and I think he's finding out that there is a big difference running a business to governing the States.
The crap that CNN goes on with is just unbelievable, every guest they have on to debate are either part of Hillary's election team or past advisors to Bill Clinton or Obama.
It's no wonder he keeps Tweeting "Fake news".

i have serious doubts he will make it as an NRL fullback, he looks an out and out 5/8 to me. whilst as a player he might be a better one then Lolohea, Lolo will be a better 1 for us IMO
 
Lolohea has more in his repertoire than Tedesco. It will be interesting to watch how Lolohea comes along under the tuition of Cleary and Hodgson. I am very excited about his signing with us as he is a player with genuine x factor.
 
Will everyone forget Maloney. Someone on here is mates with him and he has stressed numerous times that Maloney has said he will never play here.

Soooo my work day is that busy I had time to browse the Knights forum to suss out their views on the Watson situation. There's almost not talk of him mentioned going back as far as early June. You would think if he was leaning towards them or in fact had already signed with them that there would be a lot more mention.

The few times his name was briefly mentioned in threads it seemed they were more hopeful than confident. Brown has mentioned they expect to announce 3-4 signings within coming weeks but few are confident one of those will be Watson. Some have said he did head up there for a second look around last week with his mum but Knights have refused to match or even go close to the offer Tigers tabled (apparently about 150k per yr less). You would think Ponga has no.1 wrapped up there for next year so that really only leaves 5/8 for him as Levi seems their first choice hooker.

The Cronk to Sharks and Maloney to Knights rumor refuses to go away so this puts Watson in a very similar position there as he'd be in with the Tigers and that's no guarantee of securing a starting position. Without a guarantee of a starting birth my gut tells me he'll take the greater offer on the table. For a young guy his age 150k/yr is a big difference over a few years.
