Watson is not getting on board.

Your opinion or based on some knowledge?

I believe it to be fact. I understand he's signed to a club based in regional NSW that rhymes with Bewcastle…

We all want better players and Watson has talent but it would be better if we spend money on forwards rather than positions we have players in like 5/8 or fullback.
If Tui can't cut it at the back we will be in trouble.

I was hoping we'd get him because he gives us some options. I'm worried now about Tui at 1 and Reynolds at 6.

I have a feeling that Cleary wasn't too keen on chasing him and has better options to spend the CAP money on.

Great news. Don't need him.

Agreed.
Good player but he doesn't fit anywhere in our side if we have 1) Lolohea and 6) Reynolds.
Always good to have depth, but not at that price.

I'd rather us spend the money on a backrower and a winger.

I have zero issue getting Watson at 465k. I would prefer we target Latu, Peachey, Tapine, Boyle, Ofehengaue, Vete, Thompson etc. We need another prop, big lock forward and an outside back Winger/Centre.
Preferably Tapine, Peachey, Ofehengaue and Rona.
That would be a solid squad.

So can't wait for Paul Crawley's apology to tigers after he slammed us for having the audacity to build depth.

He'll follow up with a story saying Watson was dismayed at the poor Wests Tigers setup. The negative press won't stop with Go and Pascoe in charge short of winning a premisership. We are like Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon and CNN.

Would have loved his signature, and I thought he would have been great for us,but it's a fact of life that you are very lucky if you get 10% of the players you target and so far we have done way better than I expected in the recruitment department….now let's sit back and grab a few big fish that will be on the market for what ever reasonm

Wasn't really fussed either way …he can help polish the spoon next season for the Knights. As eluded by many I want a couple more dominate forwards this would be icing on the cake IMO.
