China have developed a biological weapon which they allowed to spread throughout the working class. They have then sent the infected around the world, while they keep the vaccines and treatments to themselves.

China should be completely shut out of this country. Land that Chinese citizens own should be reclaimed by the government to pay for the treatment of the disease that was created and exported by China.

Funny think is that they are now over the worst of it, while the rest of the world now suffers the consequences.

Unfortunately there are right wing nut jobs who would believe that to be true

The more and more non-footy stuff that gets posted in here, the more concerned I get about some of the repugnant trash that some people post. Grabbing land owned by Chinese because that's where the virus started? God forbid anyone here ever - lawfully - ever owns land in another country and then finds themselves on the negative end of some racial backlash.

I honestly think some people have such a low level of intelligence and common sense that they shouldn't be classified as human beings.

That's the most disappointing thing about being a human being. There's the actually COVID-19 disease and mortality concerns, real and serious and not man-made, then there's the parallel hysteria, finger-pointing, panic buying, stock market frenzy and advice-ignoring, which is totally man-made. This is a crisis and very many people are not coping, and it's only making it worse.

Someone posted before, to think that our forebears went through 2 World Wars and the Great Depression last century, and still knuckled down and got the job done, and we have a virus outbreak in the very modern, comfy and connected world, and many people can't handle it. There's no food rationing yet, the internet still works - very little is being asked of people, and a significant amount of the population can't stay calm.

Solidarity defeats this crisis, not scare-mongering and selfishness. I mean, they are STILL destroying the toilet paper in the shops, exactly who hasn't yet bought 400 rolls and who still needs to stockpile? Similarly, now that the pasta and rice has been devastated, people are moving laterally to things like frozen foods; still panicking. Shameful.

you have a good afternoon out there

Not at the game. Would be pretty unwise at this stage, IMO, but I can’t *pretend* to know where the basis of this scientific evidence is coming from and whether it’s accurate or not.

Huge Hillsong conference wrapping up this weekend thx to PM... hope ur not among those

THERE are currently a tonne of Coronaviridae out there and causing a **wide** variety of insignificant and annoying to potentially life threatening symptoms.

The question really remains; where did this come from within the animal kingdom and why so virulent?

The working theory is that it game from bat droppings that were then transmitted to a pangolin, the virus circulated amongst that community until a infected pangolin was captured and the virus was then transferred to humans at a market in Wuhan in China!

Also what I’ve heard. How about the fact that cats and dogs are actually perfect hosts?

No obvious cure in sight

Timing is off with this thing.

The big problem with have is the live animal trade in Asia, it brings together animal from different countries and habitats and virus and diseases are transferred amongst the animals there. These virus then mutate while being transmitted through different spiecies and it is created a melting pot where these deadly virus can be created and then spread to humans!

China should’ve been Nuked !

Settle down.

Because people are morons, this is evident. Anyone who panic-bought toilet paper should be sterilised. If they have reproduced, their children should also be undergo mandatory sterilisation.

Me? Happy for you to look up my post history and show me where I am. I'm advocating for people to be clean and try to minimise transmission, but not act like donkeys and fight over food and hygiene products. That doesn't sound like panicking to me?

Shameful.

I blame the Kardashians.

The me first outlook that many people have has to change.

Anyone who lives their lives vicariously through the likes of vapid airheads like them offer nothing to society.

there made out of plastic as far as i know

Instead of shutting everything down, how about we all wear something like this

We are living in a crisis situation and comments like have been stated on this forum to me show how really bad stuff happens in the world. It's akin to how people like Hitler come to power. Some people are just so stupid and if those people get voices in the community it can lead to really bad outcomes.

I'm also optimistic that this will pass and we can get through it. People in general are not morons but unfortunately people that are intellectually challenged are allowed to voice their opinions onto the general public.
