China have developed a biological weapon which they allowed to spread throughout the working class. They have then sent the infected around the world, while they keep the vaccines and treatments to themselves.

China should be completely shut out of this country. Land that Chinese citizens own should be reclaimed by the government to pay for the treatment of the disease that was created and exported by China.

Funny think is that they are now over the worst of it, while the rest of the world now suffers the consequences.

The more and more non-footy stuff that gets posted in here, the more concerned I get about some of the repugnant trash that some people post. Grabbing land owned by Chinese because that's where the virus started? God forbid anyone here ever - lawfully - ever owns land in another country and then finds themselves on the negative end of some racial backlash.

I honestly think some people have such a low level of intelligence and common sense that they shouldn't be classified as human beings.

So we are all advised to take anything you state as gospel?
Seems to be a bit of high-horsing floating about. People are entitled to their opinions, not everybody will agree, that's ok.

I was told about Niseko when I was in Japan. Apparently it's pretty good, and yeah I heard there's a big Australian diaspora there.

Not at the game. Would be pretty unwise at this stage, IMO, but I can’t *pretend* to know where the basis of this scientific evidence is coming from and whether it’s accurate or not.

THERE are currently a tonne of Coronaviridae out there and causing a **wide** variety of insignificant and annoying to potentially life threatening symptoms.

The question really remains; where did this come from within the animal kingdom and why so virulent?

The working theory is that it game from bat droppings that were then transmitted to a pangolin, the virus circulated amongst that community until a infected pangolin was captured and the virus was then transferred to humans at a market in Wuhan in China!

Also what I’ve heard. How about the fact that cats and dogs are actually perfect hosts?

The big problem with have is the live animal trade in Asia, it brings together animal from different countries and habitats and virus and diseases are transferred amongst the animals there. These virus then mutate while being transmitted through different spiecies and it is created a melting pot where these deadly virus can be created and then spread to humans!

China should have been locked down from the beginning, no one in or out - they're on top of it now and have seen the worst of it. All this has done is kill people in other countries and ruin the global economy.

I teach at UTS and part time @ TAFE Ultimo.

Our student cohort are running at about 15% of what they normally are. Attrition rate is the highest i have ever seen since i have been here. About 10% of our Chinese students have returned back to China (as things are getting back to normal in all of China except Wuhan). About 80% of our teachers are on casual salaries hence a lot of insecurity ATM.
