I don't know what else to call people who cannot think logically. I did state it was either a lack of intelligence or a lack of emotional maturity. I think that is the vast majority of people who believe dribble on facebook or wherever they get their information from.

I reckon people like Tucker Carlson have a different motive. They want to create drama and division because they view themselves as entertainers. I reckon he has probably had the vaccine but won't admit it because then everyone will realize he is just playing a game.

I just spoke to an anti-vaxxer mate. I intended to give him hell about getting vaccinated. He has already had one dose and can't wait to get the second.

Not sure vacines the answer look at America and UK

The latest outbreaks are with people who are not vaccinated. It’s exactly what is predicted and expected.

Large number of people are fully vaccinated and still getting it and spreading it

Geez, the vast majority of people on here are vaccinated against Measles, yet can still catch and spread it and possibly die from the disease, but the immunity of the herd (community) stifles it from spreading like wildfire.

That same disease causes havoc, more than it's fair share of death and even lockdowns when it gets into communities with low vaccination rates. Covid is doing similary in the countries you mentioned, not wholesale, rather almost always in those comparatively lower vaccination rate communities and increasingly affecting the young.

I don’t think anyone is saying they are foolproof and if some alternatives can be shown to work on a society wide basis, great. In the meantime we are a year or so on from the trials and the real time data is fairly conclusive.

It is rather concerning that Police are using helicopters with loudspeakers, out in the Western Suburbs, to order people inside or they will be arrested. Many in these areas have a background from war torn countries that they have escaped from. I can only imagine the trauma this is causing.

Additionally, I suspect many terrorist plots have been foiled by the cooperation of these very same Western Suburbs people with the Police. I fear the Police, by doing this, have lost the Western Suburbs and that cooperation will no longer occur. The consequences could be devastating.

For all the tough talk about bringing in the military..... the government using the forces for non-defence purposes is 100% illegal.

Defence are often called in to help with Bushfires and floods. They are allowed to be used when a state or national emergency is called.

Floods and bushfires can be justified as defending Commonwealth interests.

Enforcing a state public health order is 100% different.

Looks like the ADF is coming in but you know best.

Fact is the ADF have been helping border protection and in hotel quarantine for last 18mths

Will be waiting for all those law suits to be filled.

They’re helping with backend stuff I.e call centres, contact tracing help etc they’re not necessarily there to police.

Instead of whining why doesn't @FinestTigers honestly state his position on vaccines or his position against the science of vaccinations in relation to COVID.

Why mention some dodgy doctor. Why did that other guy provide a link to a twitter feed called "gorgeous truths" instead of engaging in a discussion of the science of vaccination and COVID.
