Yes, three times via Crimestoppers. I was very happy when riding this afternoon to see three bicycle police heading there. They'd already pulled someone over for not wearing a mask and were checking her ID. I told them about the two lots of people with their picnic rugs out - the picnickers were gone when I got back 🙂

Great. Well done. I did the same for a local fruit/veg retailer who thought it was OK to yell from the footpath about his "cheaper, cheaper" stock inside, with no mask and no concern for the people standing and walking nearby. He now wears a mask. Crimestoppers is excellent.

A poor old fruit & veg retailer desperately spruiking to keep his business afloat and you consider that a crime and brag about dobbing him in
We’ve just reached Germany 1939

Just like you used to brag about breeching covid restrictions and risking the health of others.

You must have me confused with someone else

@Hangonaminute no we really don't.

Haven’t come across this guy and his style looks quite different and it’s not me

Lol you haven't come across him, but you know his style is quite different?

You click on his name and it shows you some of his work

Unfortunately some people won't believe it.

Guessing he didn't believe in it either - he died at home. So pointless.

Yeah they mentioned it happened very quickly in the end .....guessing he may have had some pre existing conditions ....

None from what I heard, just a previously healthy guy in his twenties.

From his photos he looks like a typical healthy young bloke - not overweight or anything.

The woman in her 30s who died the other day had no underlying conditions either.

I'm not sure ...but a lot of healthy looking people can have conditions ...even being asthmatic

It is rather concerning that Police are using helicopters with loudspeakers, out in the Western Suburbs, to order people inside or they will be arrested. Many in these areas have a background from war torn countries that they have escaped from. I can only imagine the trauma this is causing.

Additionally, I suspect many terrorist plots have been foiled by the cooperation of these very same Western Suburbs people with the Police. I fear the Police, by doing this, have lost the Western Suburbs and that cooperation will no longer occur. The consequences could be devastating.

Here comes the dictatorship brought to you by communism

Generally speaking you’re able to mobilise your country far quicker with a communist state than a democratic state the downside is if you have bad people in power in a communist state

You don't know the liberal party

They are nothing compared to the Cabal and the Reptillians.

Ah yes the lizard people.

Is 5G safe ?
Asking for a friend

Yep. Non ionising radiation, meaning there is not enough energy to knock an electron out of orbit and therefore cannot directly effect cells. Additionally recent tests on towers in VIC shows that the EME output from the towers is less than < 1.5% of the maximum allowed and most are <1%.

Did you watch the US senate committee on 5G
very interesting one senator was asking the telco lawyer if 5G was safe and the lawyer said its not our job if its safe or not we just have to show that we are following your guide lines

But over 45000 scientist signed a petition asking for more research into 5G they are worried about the oxygen molecule and how 5G
spins the molecule making it more difficult for people with asthma to breathe

Interested on your views on a couple of other topics:
- Was the recent US election won fraudulently?
- Is Joe Biden a clone?
- Do you eat Pizza?
- here is JFK hiding?

**I dont care about the US** and i dont eat pizza

I stand by what I said. A lawyers job is to practice law, nothing more nothing less. Your second statement about 45K scientist singing a petition is false and has been well and truly debunked. As has your last sentence.

**Watch the US** senate committee on 5G it's online just have a look

I was watching people talking about 5G listening to both sides of a story it just happened to be in America it's always good to hear both sides don't want to be ignorant

Fellas, I’m genuinely curious to gather some opinions on this and I’m not too sure how in depth this may have been discussed previously.

I’ve shared some of my thoughts previously about how I think certain things could’ve been handled a lot differently throughout this pandemic. Some agree and some don’t, but I respect everyone’s opinion. My opinion’s virtually irrelevant now given where we are now compared to where we were 12 months ago.

I’m trying to accept the fact I’ll likely have to get a vaccine that I’ve never been completely comfortable with in order to get back to work, enjoy life a little more and add some protection. I’ve explained previously I’m not anti-vax, just extremely cautious about the side affects of the vaccines available given there’s been no long term studies and some concerning theories out there.

With that being said, I’m genuinely interested in finding out what people think Australia will look like in the next few years as I’m definitely struggling to comprehend the long term aspects this virus is going to have on the world.

I’m honestly finding myself emotionally exhausted by the constant wave and impact this virus is having.

The current vaccines have been sold by governments as our only way out and it appeared to be having a good impact, but now we’re seeing countries with high levels of vaccination going backwards with lockdowns and restrictions due to the Delta outbreak. Large numbers of people (vaccinated or not) are seemingly getting hammered by this variant overseas now and the vaccines seem to have a much lower impact.

Does anyone think that we will eventually treat this like a common flu or build an immunity against it?

Do people think we’ll be socially distancing, under restrictions and wearing masks for the remainder of our lives?

Do people think the situation will evolve to the point it’ll wipe out a significant portion of the global population?

Do people think we’ll ever get to the bottom of how it all started and will they ever be held responsible (i don’t buy the bat soup/wet market theories). Could we see military responses or acts of war if it’s ever proven to be a biological type attack?

Is anyone concerned about some of the potential long-term side affects of the vaccines?

I know there’s no playbook or perfect answers, but I think it’s an interesting topic to discuss what some of you think the future may hold?

Without getting political about it, I think that the proposal to provide $300 for everyone who comes forward to get vaccinated by December 1st would be money well spent and likely not only bring forward many that would not get vaccinated otherwise, but saving the nation many more billions whilst bringing the nation back quicker, both health and economy wise with a brighter Xmas to boot.

Incentives will almost certainly come at some point and I say that there is no time like the present, providing of course there is the supply. Of course early adopters should not be discriminated.

Yeah I am not against it. I will already be vaccinated by then so it's not going to benefit me, but it might encourage those on the fence or whom are ambivalent about it to get it done. It won't encourage the Covidiots and anti-vax nutcases, they are true to their cause and won't get it done, but it might be enough to get hit that 80% mark.

Good question ......we have 66 kids under the age of 19 with the Delta variant as of yesterday in this cluster ...and seeing how kids act in my workplace ...... 3-4 weeks

If you are serious you have to get vaccinated. The data across the world clearly shows the unvaccinated are dying. The delta variant is now the dominant strain across the world and it's killing the unvaccinated.

So get vaccinated.

I've said we've got about 5000 cases so far and we've had a fair few deaths. They are basically all unvaccinated.

So if anyone thinks the virus is different here compared to overseas they are wrong.

@tigertye said in [Coronavirus Outbreak](/post/1436098) said:

My opinion is that if you are vaccinated it's like this now. I'm 100% positive this will happen as well. Eventually everyone will either get it and die or build some immunity.

@tigertye said in [Coronavirus Outbreak](/post/1436098) said:
Do people think we’ll be socially distancing, under restrictions and wearing masks for the remainder of our lives?

No. I can't see that happening. If everyone got vaccinated we wouldn't have to do this now. The problem is the unvaccinated and trying to protect them as well as not put too much pressure on the health care system.

I don't believe this will continue. I think people will just start accepting the unvaccinated die and it's really their choice.

There will probably be restrictions imposed on the unvaccinated.

@tigertye said in [Coronavirus Outbreak](/post/1436098) said:
Do people think the situation will evolve to the point it’ll wipe out a significant portion of the global population?

What is significant. There are like 4.5 million deaths. It'll wipe out at least 2% of the unvaccinated population across the world.

You have to go off previous outbreaks. We don't know where the Spanish flu started.

It wasn't a biological type attack.

@tigertye said in [Coronavirus Outbreak](/post/1436098) said:

No - everyone should be vaccinated with some sort of vaccine. Vaccines are extremely safe.

Was interesting hearing on NRL 360 tonight about how players who won't get vaccinated will get treated

Papalii was a player they used as an example ...won't be able to play SOO .....might miss half of the games

Like the NFL's version of non compliant players ...unvaccinated player causes a game to be abandoned due to Covid ...no player gets paid ...game is forfeited ...team whose player causes the forfeit loses their points .....

@tigertye said in [Coronavirus Outbreak](/post/1436098) said:

Yes. This is what the vaccines are likely to achieve.

Do people think we’ll be socially distancing, under restrictions and wearing masks for the remainder of our lives?

I think it will change the way people approach being in crowded spaces, yes. I'd expect masks to be 'the norm' much like they already were in parts of Asia.

Is anyone concerned about some of the potential long-term side affects of the vaccines?

Not really. Concerns are around the same level as the flu vaccine - which I have been taking annually for around a decade without hesitation.

I am much, much more concerned about the long term effects of contracting COVID, particularly the neurological/cardiovascular stuff.

And also the short term effects like dying on a ventilator.
