It is past time for more help for those left behind, with living in poverty hard enough at any time and made much worse during this increasingly challenging period. Virtually every single dollar at the lower level is returned to the economy and lifted so many early on in this pandemic.
It doesn't need to be as large as the first supplements, but should at least get the needy somewhere near the poverty line.
The money is going to run out. I reckon they are giving out heaps. What about the rest of the world as well.
I'm on your side. It's just I see problems everywhere.
It is money well spent in so many ways, none more so than the proportion of it that helps to limit the spread of the virus. The health savings are disproportionate to the cost long term as well.
We are soon to give up to around $7k in annual tax cuts to the more fortunate, which gives much less return to both society and the economy.
