Ahhhhh a big boy on the forum. Keep typing away champ

And for your info you rocket scientist it’s the vaxed that are spreading it for the moment.

I will express my frustration that some are not willing or able to adjust their lifestyles for Covid. That nighclub outbreak in Newcastle was so easily avoidable. It has the potential to spread Covid far and wide ruining business, lives and putting Christmas plans under threat.

The vaccinated appear to be safer. I'm not sure if that is behavioral or demographic based (younger people appear to be more likely to be unvaccinated).

Hopefully though the unvaccinated are predominantly safe. I'm sure some will die though that didn't need to if they just got vaccinated. That is a pretty big cost to pay for a stupid belief system.

@earl you will have to write that in simpler terms for that clown, he wouldn’t understand his brain is a tad small

Poor liddle didums did that nasty rabbit bite you when you went down the rabbit hole again?

You are the main one talking rubbish on here and you have polluted this thread with your lies and misconceptions.Sadly your garbage may have affected the ideas and more importantly the potential health of others.

My lies? Champ look around you. Omicron has spread rapidly around the world. It’s very likely that we will lockdown again if cases
Rise and hospitalisations increase. Wake up to yourself. You are
not bulletproof being vaxxed. People have gone out partying and congregating like this thing is finished. It is not! Mate I hardly go anywhere but essential shopping because vaxed or unvaxed I don’t want to catch it.

Kids going to nightclubs.

I just reckon we have to accept it's going to go crazy. Hopefully high vaccination rates, booster shoots and Omicron hopefully being less virulent will mean that we get through this in a pretty good state.

I'm a bit nervous about the next 6-8 weeks. I'm booking in for my booster shot today and I'll get it as soon as possible.

I am sure you don't want to catch covid but your beliefs are actually working against you making you more likely to catch it.Catch 22 springs to mind even if it is not the best analogy

I’m very nervous @earl. This thing is spreading super fast. Hopefully it’s is less virulent, vaxed or unvaxed I don’t want people getting sick and dying. Maybe just Paul wright cause he has a bad sooky attitude

Thank you for your wishes

Exactly my thoughts. Just a crap comment to make to get a reaction. I don’t have a problem at all with the vaxed, I just feel that I made the right decision to not get vaxed at this point if omicron proves to be less virulent and the vaccines are not as effective combating it. I also want to wait and see what the future holds with respect to the virus and vaccines. I am in no rush and will keep my movements to essential shopping only until then.

"Yep. It’s extremely safe and effective. I find it funny that they even try not to release the information unless you made that up which may be true".

I don't need to make anything up Earl. The fact that you would think that this is a possibility says more about you than me. Why would Pfizer want this information hidden? Are you serious? I guess you believe 1223 deaths is OK from a safe and effective jab.

"I assume a reasonable way to view this is 1223 deaths out of say 4 billion people".

Well, you know what they say about assumptions. Read the information. Those 1223 deaths were in the FIRST 90 days following the roll out, (just from the Pfizer jab). I don't know how many got jabbed in that time frame - do you? Certainly not the 4 billion that you suggest above.

"Just some random death statistics:-

Texting while driving causes 6000 deaths in the US alone.
Falling out of bed kills 450 people annually in the U.S.
The US has say 350k people.

Let’s add another to the long list of proof that the anti-vaxxers provide that is hilarious. It’s comedy gold".

Once again the use of the term 'anti-vaxxer' used by intellectually lazy people trying to denigrate those with a differing view point on these particular drugs.
And just so you can compare apples with apples. No drug that is in its trial stage has ever been rolled out to the general population when it has caused more that 50 deaths. That's right Earl - 50 deaths!
I don't find any of this hilarious Earl. I find it perplexing. I also find it sad that politicians with the expressed help of the media are successfully dividing a society, dividing families and tearing apart friendships based on false information and fear tactics.
Remember, this 'virus' has a 99% survival rate even without treatment. And there are now over a thousand studies supporting a variety of treatments as being effective and cost effective.

Anyway Earl, I am sure I have provided more 'comedy gold' for you.

I agree Ink…just to clarify,my point was that many people probably think there is some truth in what David Icke was stating, same as people think that UFOs are real and Aliens live amongst us…is it up to me or anybody else to belittle them for what they believe ?

I don't like this attitude. I view this as part of what is wrong with the world and I blame Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon and the right wing conspiracy nuts.

We need to talk facts. Then you can have an opinion on top of those facts. You don't get to make facts.

You've copped it from going into that rabbit hole and to me it's wrong. I don't know what you do about it though. Ideally people would learn to actually think critically. That would stop the lies and BS straight away.

Earl,I clearly dont care if you like this attitude or not....What I was saying is that people choose to have beliefs in many varying topics in this life....
If they choose to believe in lizard people, aliens, dragons or whatever they CHOOSE..then thats their personal choice, its their freedom to believe what they want...
If people choose not to believe in some propaganda promoted in main stream media, then once again its their choice...if some people choose NOT to get vaccinated, its their choice...
If you want to get your next 3/4 boosters then thats your CHOICE....

Your condesending ATTITUDE towards other peoples freedom of speech, choice and opinion is exactly what creates the divide in our society today during this horrible time in existence....

I get belted around all the time when I post something that is someones opinion, such as David Icke...he may believe in Lizards ...but thats his opinion and he has the freedom to make that choice irrespective of others opinions on the matter...
I dont agree with his opinion but thats my choice, but I havent condemned him to hell for it...its his personal belief...

Let us at least try to not resort to name calling, whether that be snowflake, clown or nut job etcetera.

I sort of agree but there is a problem in that the stuff that the anti-vaxx supporters state consistently consists of lies or fantasies.

I have a friend who is schizophrenic and he comes up with wild stories. Those stories are very similar to the stories the anti-vaxxers state.

If they were logical and accepted the facts but stated they believe for their own personal risk profile it's not worth being vaccinated then it'd be much easier to discuss.

This is complete and utter dribble. Our society is divided by the right wing conspiracy nutters spreading misinformation.

Facts should matter. It's the perversion of facts which has caused your issues in this pandemic. I view you and other person who creates crazy narratives as victims of this misinformation.

I'd love this and other discussions to be calm and rational and factual.

Lastly I'm starting to be against vaccine mandates (unless it's required at work) and I accept that my attitude will lead to increased deaths. I think it's people choice if they want to accept an increased risk profile and potentially death.

No one though should have the right to manipulate the facts to benefit themselves and screw over people like yourself.

I'll add that I haven't condemned anyone to hell. You wouldn't believe it but I'm an atheist.
