Daily Telegraph - You Gotta Be Joking!

Did anyone see the front page of the Sydney Edition of the Telegraph yesterday, after Wednesday night's game? I'm absolutely astounded at how they have tried to frame it in favour of NSW - they've reached an all time low, imo.

The link is below, sorry I couldn't work out how to paste the story as it is a digital edition. If you click on the link and then click on the picture it will magnify and you will be able to read the crap they wrote - unbelievable!

I'd just stop reading the Terror…

Same. Trashy paper. Every time a person picks up a Terrorgraph Australia is a little worse off.

Working at a Cigarette company is on par with a career dragging society down by writing at the Telegraph.

Shame on them.

Don't read it, don't buy it - I saw the headline when I was standing in Coles waiting for someone the other day and was just astounded at the spin they used to turn a comprehensive Origin defeat into a victory for NSW somehow. I was just sharing my incredulity at the headline, but never mind.

That is called extreme butt hurt Flip.
Real rugby league fans acknowledge the amazing performance and give credit where it is due…even if it's through gritted teeth.
Fake fans and bandwagoners carry on like the telegraph are. Remember it was those idiots who created the ridiculous pressure for the team that helped spur on the Maroons.

This sort of thing use to piss me off, but then I realised it's the reaction they want, so why give them the reaction they want? Best to just ignore gutter journalism. I was listening to a great piece during lunch in the cricket the other night where they were comparing our media to the poms. They brought up the Broad incident and interviewed the Aussie journo who headed the smear campaign against Broad who basically admitted they had no issue with him, and actually liked him, and said it was all in good fun. Yet they don't understand the intense hatred they can cause due to their influence. And that goes for issues that are a lot more serious than a cricketer not walking. The media are a weapon of mass destruction.

Rupert Murdoch is a stealth ship and missile strike away from being the real life incarnate of Elliott Carver from Tomorrow Never Dies.

Hard to disagree with that - not much objective reporting in the Courier Mail.
