Rumour has it he could be on the outer at the Dogs. Seems very knee jerk to me.

Would love him here.

Prob can't afford him though.
 
He would cost us multiple Millions of dollars.

His salary, his coaching & support staff.
New training facilities.
A hyperbolic chamber.
Half a new playing roster.

But a yes for me!
 
In the 14 years hes been coaching…. hes taken teams to the finals thirteen times.
In the 17 years weve existed... ....weve managed to make the finals three times.
No brainer.
Id love him here too...it wouldnt be easy, but it would be worth it imo
 
It would be good, but I don't think the dogs are going to let him go.
They may pull him back a peg or two but surely they won't let him go.

We finish 9th and our club wants to extend the coaches contract they finished 7th and the coaches on the outer.
 
For a team who's goal is to only make the finals Des is the perfect coach for us.

Boring and horrible to watch. But perfect for us.

They think Taylor is a prick though? Wait until he lobs up…

You right on both counts. But a prick is tolerable if he gets you success, but like it's rumoured if they don't get you the result your after then they fall out of favour quick.

Dont like him at all but it is impossible to argue with your stats.Yes please
 
I know we're only dreaming, but I would love to have Des as our coach. His record speaks for itself, but our mentally fragile lot wouldn't know what hit them!

We have no incentive whatsoever.
 
I'd take Toovs as well. Didn't win a premiership but they were still competitive until his last season when they stopped putting in for whatever reason.
 
I heard Des was on around 1.2 million Dollars next year
His track record is very good
He is a hard man
Just what we need , Wests Tigers should borrow $ 3 million and sign him up for three years , results turn into money and he gets results
He may bring 1 or 2 good players with him
 
This is the sort of coach Wests should be commited to spend big money on. If they dont have the money or dont want to spend the money they should have passed on ownership.

Bellamy type of coach but i rather a coach who can get us playing finals as opposed to one who regularly fails to make the 8.

99.9% he wont coach us but id love to see him incharge at our club.

All things considered we have done well with Taylor. Wayne Bennett had great stats too and Tinkler threw a million at him to coach Newcastle and where did that end up. You have to have the money for the players and we won't be in that position for a little while yet.
