Djokovic lawyers got their way just now, with the three judge panel convening at 9:30 tomorrow morning.

Some mightn't agree, but the law should decide such matters over that of a single person making an arbitrary decision. Else we are a mini dictatorship.

I completely disagree. Allowing him to get special treatment yet again is wrong. The government is doing the right thing.

It's not an arbitrary decision either. Get vaccinated or don't come to Australia. Don't play games with our rules.

If this was the Labour government in charge I bet you'd be supportive. That is why I'm not political. You should support what is right rather than what party is making decisions.

I disagree too. Finally someone has come and made a decision that should of been done before he got here. There is too much scapegoating, lack of accountability and organising committees for a decision that takes one person in an hour to decide.

I would be embarrassed if I came to a country and tried to get my own way like he has.

Don't come here with your apolitical rubbish as anyone here can look back at your posts and see just how many times you use it when it suits.

Find one post where that is the case. Just one.

You will not find one from me that puts political choices above the nations laws, not a single one.

You are playing a game here. You are clearly pro-labour and it colors your posts all the time. This situation is a classic example. The government are trying to do the right thing. They should be supported. Novaxx should be banned for 3 years. He should be subject to the same laws as every other person.

It's a simple issue to me. I don't believe there is any other way to view it unless you are playing political games.

Tennis Australia should be shafted for this. So should whatever the world Tennis authority is.

Novaxx is a turd of a human being.

That’s not the way our system of government works. If you want the law to be upheld then the judges need to stay in their lanes. They are not elected and are not accountable in the way that a Minister is.
I don’t know why you assume the Minister’s decision to be arbitrary. It will a decision accompanied by reasons that can be scrutinised by the Court. It will also have been the product of advice from senior bureaucrats who are not politically aligned.

And we can all see now what has happened, a crisis of shortage of food and workers.

But Unbelievably amongst this major crisis our Scomo is still able to spend and dedicate a lot of time to deal with a matter that concerns a tennis player?

Now, i'm certain that if Djokovic was not Djokovic but was one of Scomo's favourite footy players then none of us would have heard so much of this nonsense.

Besides Djokovic winning his case, Scomo knows that if we were to count all of the dec forms which have the wrong boxes ticked, they would be in the thousands and millions.

Scomo wasting precious time, the judge has said Djokovic is not a problem, the judge says we have a food and workers crisis.

Another great post @FinestTigers
Novax apparently knowingly did the wrong thing by 'supposedly' allowing one of his managers to fill out his exemption form.
Yeh righto...what a lot of bull imo.
If the dummy cant take responsibility for filling out the 'important' paperwork and then blaming his manager for the incorrect/untruthful information, that should be enough to have him booted out of Oz.
If someone gets stopped with a bag full of drugs trying to get into Oz and they try the... I didnt pack my bag so I know nothing about the drugs story...sorry but you are in big trouble.
It's called personal responsibility and he has shown us he is a liar and a 'dill brain' imo.

Correct me if I'm wrong but He wasn't gaining any benefit by not declaring that he went to Spain or wherever. Bringing drugs into a country and not declaring that you went to a country (which as far as I'm aware has no restrictions) are not comparable at all.

The disease can kill you so yes, I put him the same boat as a murderer. Should go to gaol at Parklea with Haynesy

What a ludicrous post. Sums this up...

What is ludicrous is taking the most extreme opinion in the thread & saying "it sums it up" for you

The political climate... Not defending Novak in any way so what’s up your arse ?

Wasn’t serving anybody but you asked for it and going off your clearly premature conclusion around my comment, can’t take it in return?

Hahaha settle petal
Now. I see why you had a go at me in another thread.
Pretty petty

He compared the bloke and situation to a convicted rapist that previously played NRL... if you can’t see how these two things are not the same.. and understand me calling that out as ludicrous, then you honestly shouldn’t type dude.

Not trying to disrespect you in any other thread or try to get this going but you’re not correct in defending that. Simple as bud

I did say it was THE most extreme opinion in the thread.
Maybe I misinterpreted your post... It was fairly vague... Just dunno why you came back so aggro.

Yes, and that is exactly what is playing out, is it not? The decision is being scrutinised by the courts.

There is though plenty up for debate with your last few words regarding the stacking of the public sector and we have had decisions made where the minister has made arbitrary choices against all advice. Dutton who was found to have misled for a start.

Can only hope that it's a Blockbuster that doesn't feature the jerk pictured to the left of Ash Barty.

Shame it'll still feature the tosser to her right though.

I like Kyrgios, yes his brash in interviews and a bit reckless but he plays entertaining tennis. He’ll never win a major as he doesn’t have the temperament but he doesn’t really care to.

Tomic 2

Tomic had tennis ability but was very unlikable on and off the court. Kyrgios has personality and is a likeable guy at times. He has a presence on the court that brings young people to the game. He does a lot of good off the court as well. He plays tennis as his job and doesn’t have ambitions to be the best he just wants to do his job and get paid.

If he has a good personality he hides it extremely well. He just comes across as an entitled sook who hoists the white flag when things aren't going his way. Can't stomach the flog at all. Him and Tomic are peas in a pod, both are a stain on how our country is represented in world sport.

Definitely should of been booted. Really don't know why they didn't just flat refuse him right from the get-go, even before he travelled here. It's just turned into a massive international circus that it never needed to be.

For those that refuse to be vaccinated for Covid 19, I believe they're vaccine hesitant. For those that refuse any other vaccine, they're anti vaxers. Go figure. Conservative crap to not offend a fair portion of the population for mine.
Anything to hold onto votes.
